Entitled “Golden Rule,” the work was presented to the UN in 1985 as a gift on behalf of the United States by then First Lady Nancy Reagan. The half-ton mosaic depicts people of different nationalities standing together with the words “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” inscribed on the surface.

House Rules
Scattered throughout the canyon country are remnants of the Ancestral Puebloan, or Anasazi, culture, which thrived from about 1 to 1300 A.D. Help preserve and protect these sites by following these simple “House Rules”:
No slumber parties.
Avoid camping in archeological site Walls and artifacts are easily destroyed in the dark. Smoke from campfires stains cliff walls. Never use wood from these sites in campfires.
Keep your feet of the furniture.
Archeological sites are old and fragile. Walk carefully and avoid treading on structure walls. Never traverse gravel slopes below archeological sites; slope erosion can undermine structures, causing their collapse.
Don't pee in the parlor – or any other room.
Human waste left at archeological sites is unsightly and unsanitary.
Don't touch the paintings.
Oils from skin damage pictographs (rock paintings) and petroglyphs (rock carvings). Never deface or add to rock art.
Don't eat in the living room.
Avoid picnicking in archeological sites, since crumbs attract rodents, which may nest within the site. Carry out all trash and garbage.
Tell mom if you see something wrong.
Contact a park ranger if you find archeological sites defaced or if you witness someone removing artifacts. The National Park Service can be hailed on marine band 16.

After being cooped up in the house for several days, for reasons beyond their control, and with heavy rain in the forecast, B and I decided to take advantage of some free time and get the “kids” out for a swim.
With the summer season at an end, not only are the beaches open to canines but the town lakes are as well. For a change of scenery and to give Lacey a chance to swim in fresh water we headed out to west side of town where Bamber Lake is located. Lacey barely noticed the change in location, water is water, and she is in belly deep before we could even leash up her brother who came along for the ride. She stood staring at her Papa, watching his every move waiting for the first pitch. We could see the water ripples forming around her as she stood quivering with excitement. She swam out after the prize seemly surprised by the lack of waves. Jack stood on shore watching. There is no need for him to brave the deeps if she was welling to go for it.
She turns and heads back to land with a mouth full of orange neon. Jack, unsuccessful of being stealth like, races in making a huge splash. His attempt to sneak up on her is a epic failure. Showing him who is in control of this game, she swims within inches of him taunting him, like true siblings, to come get it. As if she knows he’s leashed she quickly turns and heads out running to her Papa for protection. Jack stands dazed and confused by what just happened.

The rather complex garbage rules posted on our building in Kawasaki. The way garbage is managed is good for the environment, but boy does it complicate life when you're packing up and tossing things out in bulk.

When laying out my uniform, I found that I had laid it out on my bed in a straight line. This is a great example of the rule of thirds because the top, skirt, and shoes makes three clear divisions in the picture
Horizion smack dab in the middle of the picture....had to stand on the top of Charley to get this shot, other wise all I could see was sky....!
