For 120 pictures in 2020 #93 "Ruffles/Ruffled", this orange hibiscus has very ruffled edges.

This Anna's hummingbird perched for me for quite a while, allowing various angles and shots. It took off briefly every now and then, and returned to the same perch. Occasionally, it would flutter it's feathers, adjusting their positions.

Young blackbird looking a little the worse for wear…

I think that this singing Whitethroat looks like he's wearing a Ruffled Cravat. I've found these birds quite tricky to photograph as they don't stay in the open for long in my experience. This was the only useable image of a four shot sequence because his bill was obscured by the leaves on the left but at least I got one I guess.

The holidays were great for my family and myself except for the pneumonia I contracted and then not long after, a terrible cold; must admit, I felt worse from the cold and cough than from the pneumonia.

Anyway, six weeks later I’m fine and looking to see how you folks are!
