Route 140 was destined to be one of the last haunts of the RT in North West London. Mill Hill Broadway to Heathrow Airport was the official length of the route, but there were many places along the route where buses would turn short, as seen here by RT 3628 (HD) at Harrow-on-the-Hill station.
