RT 4255 of Barking garage has almost finished its journey on route 87 to Barking (London Road). It is waiting at the stop across the road and a little down the hill from Barking station.

many years ago i used to dabble with the rt's out of barking garage on route 62 apologies to bus fans there id's are just about visible
Shortly after RT 2991 made the turn into Western Road, so does Barking's (BK) RT 669 bound for Harold Hill (Gooshays Drive). The right indicator is flashing although turning right here is the only option: South Street northwards from here is/was pedestrianised).
Plumstead's shining RT 3297 (AM) is heading for Crystal Palace on route 122 in Well Hall Road, Shooters Hill. Thursday 20th June 1974. U-6.
Seen five months later than the previous photo and in similar glorious weather, RT 3315 (GY) again on the 370 in Ockenden Road, North Ockenden. Thursday 27th February 1975. 2H-6.
This bus later became involved in the film "The Mummy Returns" where three RTs were used, as LT 1097, one of which lost its roof.
For years I thought this was 3438, but it isn't. 2673 lasted as a trainer at Vcitoria until June '79 then sold to Wombwells in July. This could be it's last journey! I wonder if the "one armed bandit" was driving? There's no left hand visible, so it could be!
Back at Richmond RT 1594 arrived. Recorded as being derelict in 82 and restored in 84, it also passed thruogh the sales side at Copbham before find a home in Northampton and later Pinner and Dorset.

At certain times of the day when the 339 and 396 routes are running in association with the Epping Ongar Railway three RT type vehicles can be seen together at North Weald station before they head off on their respective journeys.
RT3228 is waiting to head off on route 396 to Harlow,RT3871 is the next departure to Epping with RT1700 forming the following Epping service.
