In March 1976 a batch of borrowed Leyland Titans owned by Southend Transport but latterly hired by London Transport replaced RTs at the London Country Harlow garage. The blue painted Leylands were to be seen on routes 339, 396, 397 and 807. Two years before these changes, RT 964 (HA) is pictured at Ongar 'Two Brewers' on the 339. J-4.
RT 3975 (AD) stands at Chesterfield Road, Barnet on route 261. RMs took over the route from late 1977, changing further to DMSs from April 1978. Wednesday 9th April 1975. 2K-7.

A two-car train of Siemens-Duewag U2A cars (#111 and #114) on the K Street Mall in Downtown Sacramento.
This the first time that I have caught a train with a matched set of Siemens (in the latest paint scheme).
As used on the 1952 tour of the United States showing the extra ventilators fitted for the trip..Willesden Garages Leyland/Weymann RML3 parked alongside.

This old girl dated from 1948, originally carrying a roofbox body. The later RT8 body was fitted in 1966 and five years later the bus became a trainer. It lasted until 1976 and was sold to Wombwells the following year.
I think a blind-winder had been in before I got there. The SMs lloked as if they had worked their last shifts already.
