The Roxy Theater opened in 1954 on Route 66 in Holbrook, Arizona, replacing an earlier Roxy Theatre that dated back to the 1930s. The Roxy seats 327. The theater closed in 1994, but reopened in 2003 after a renovation project.

a busy weekend ahead - a meal with friends tomorrow night and our neighbours are coming here on Sunday. . . and then into Monday we are picking up Elsie from school (yippee!) and cooking a meal over in east London . . . which means I shall only be dipping in and out until Tuesday.
I didn't take any photos yesterday of Roxy - Rachel arrived and we were all chatting and . . . well, this is from Monday!
Princes Street Gardens from today's walk, some folks sitting on the benches (no shortage of seats with so few people around), lady in the cool Roxy Music T-shirt observing safe social distancing from both sides of seating, walking down the middle.

Roxy was in fine fettle after her nap, despite a persistent cough. I shan't be going over to east London tomorrow or any Thursday during the school holidays as Elsie is at home and there will be 'activities' . . . though we shall be going over on Mondays as usual
Roxy is an Irish Wheaten Terrier. I'm doggysitting my daughters dog, and she was very good for sitting for the camera....

The family came over for an evening meal. Roxy slept all the way through it and gave Abby the opportunity to eat her meal in peace.
