A previous theatre occupied this location from its construction in 1913. It was named The Lillian. It operated until the Great Depression. When it reopened it was known as The Roxy. After a second fire in 1945, it was completely rebuilt and reopened again in 1947.

The Roxy showed first-run movies until 1980. In 1983 it became The Roxy Regional Theatre became a "live theatre."

The venue now produces live theatre events as well as showing many old classic movies.

Thanks to all you all. she also thanks all her friends. She is doing much better. She is eating and drinking and even able to almost walk down the steps to go outside. she is long way from being the old Roxy, but all signs are no permanent damage. The Vet says time will heal and she should be back to almost normal in 2 to 3 weeks, but a few things are off her list of activities like Night ball play time and jumping fer the ball game. In fact she will not be happy to know that her daily sumo dog match with the kids dog next door is on hold till a good bill of health is given out.

Mandy was Roxy's kinda momma and there you have what she means to me. I thanks you all for the prayers. She is healing and I'm so happy I drank a beer. Mandy would of helped, but Roxy has never touched the stuff. =o)~

After her recent bath Roxy had great pleasure getting dirty again!

Here she is earlier in the week on a trip to the beach ,where she had great fun chasing sea foam....and getting dirty.

I had a Roxy day today. I went to east London for my morning coffee and Abby popped out to Dalston to buy some fabric. This is a picture of Roxy and me having a chat. Best of all, when she became tired I was able to put her down for a nap without any fuss . . . I returned home as Abby and Roxy left to pick up Elsie from school - Thursday is swimming after school. Abby is such a brilliant Mum.

With all the other portraits had to post in one of my fav model, Miss Roxy... still not sure if she really loves posing for photo sessions or if it has anything to do with getting a lot of treats....

The little female (I think) cotton top tamarin enjoys darting around the outside enclosure as she awaits food.

This is my other cat Roxy. I have far fewer pictures of her for 2 reasons. First, she is a more shy than my other cat. Second, she really interacts weirdly with my camera light meter. This picture is -1 EV and she doesn't seem quite dark enough.

we last saw the Bears on 19th July - Elsie was unwell and I took a few photos of Roxy. They are now on holiday - at the mid way point changing their accommodation in Cornwall tomorrow from St Agnes to Padstow . . . wishing them good weather and surf for Elsie . . .

Roxy is on the way back up from a nasty cold virus thingy and Gramps is on the way down - hopefully he has reached the bottom- and tomorrow he will be in the ascendant again. And hopefully I am on an even keel.

watching Peppa Pig. peppa Pig teaches children the value of rabbits!

I re-visited Neepawa, Manitoba's Roxy Theatre last fall and found that its exterior had been refreshed since I last photographed it in 2017. It normally shows movies on weekends and hosts live performances and events at other times.

It was completed and known as the Neepawa Opera House in 1906 and remodeled as an Art Deco movie theatre in 1936.

It has 302 main floor seats and 148 upper level seats. On the west side of the marquee is a neon sign that still works, I believe.
