I so adore her.... thank you Rocco for bring us so much joy nd beauty.
Originally named the Electric Theatre, the cinema opened on 25 November 1915. From March 1928, the cinema was owned by Gaumont British Theatres and on 11th March 1951 it was then taken over by an independent operator. By May 1952, ownership had moved to Star Cinemas and renamed Roxy Cinema. It finally closed as a cinema in February 1963. After lying vacant for nine years it was converted into a bingo club in the former circle area with a cafe in the main foyer and rear stalls area. In 2010 it was converted into a bar and nightclub.

from our belated Christmas on 30th December
catching up is slow as I was "made" to drink left over champagne from 30th before the evening meal . . .
Roxy " Mom I could do with some of that powder stuff to take the shine off my clock!"
Me " Roxy I think you need more than powder to take it away, some gentle sandmatting would be more effective"
Roxy " Hey Mom do I look like a piece of wood? I don't like the sound of that, can't you photoshop me then?"
Me " No can do sweetie, sorry"
Information, Credits and additional pictures are on the blog post - rissasecondlife.blogspot.com/2020/02/roxy.html
Roxy was enjoying the sunshine with a zoom around the yard yesterday (Easter) before the clouds and rain rolled in.
Roxy, a flea-bitten grey mare. I rode Roxy for over ten years and she spent her last couple of years in gentle semi-retirement with us after we lost Chomp.

I spent the weekend reading up on the wet-plate collodion processing technique and trying to replicate "the look". It made me realize how much work it was in the 19th century to produce a photo. Dangerous too, if you weren't careful with all those chemicals. :-)
Here is the Youtube link I used to help me with the editing. I don't have Photoshop, but it works with other software too. ( I have Affinity Photo)

I spent this morning looking after Roxy. Although this was taken yesterday. I had helped her turn over on her tummy. Her back is now quite strong and she was wriggling her legs trying to get them underneath her. Hope I shall be able to keep up with her when she starts crawling!

Elsie wasn't at school yesterday. She was still under the weather, heavy eyelids, cough and cold and so listless . . .
