Portal românico da Igreja de São Miguel Arcanjo. A Igreja de São Miguel Arcanjo é uma igreja tardo românica do século XII situada em Cizur Menor, Navarra, Espanha. Foi construída pela Ordem de São João de Jerusalém, também conhecida como os Cavaleiros Hospitalários, e serviu de hospital para os peregrinos do Caminho de Santiago. It was eventually reassembled at 16711 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, Florida, where it is now an Episcopal church and tourist attraction called Ancient Spanish Monastery. It is the oldest European-built structure in the Western Hemisphere.

Em frente à Igreja de São João de Puerta Nueva, na Plaza Mayor de Zamora, ergue-se o monumento ao "Merlú", uma escultura em bronze criada pelo artista local Antonio Pedrero Yéboles e inaugurada em 1996. A obra homenageia os membros da Confraria de Jesus Nazareno que, durante a madrugada da Sexta-feira Santa, percorrem a cidade a tocar tambor e corneta, convocando os confrades para a procissão. A escultura representa os dois irmãos, um com a corneta e outro com o tambor, vestidos com as túnicas e capuzes característicos. O conjunto sublinha a importância da Semana Santa de Zamora, classificada como de Interesse Turístico Internacional, e a sua ligação ao património histórico da cidade, personificado pela Igreja de São João de Puerta Nueva, um templo românico construído entre os séculos XII e XIII e um dos ícones de Zamora, notável pela sua rosácea.
Opposite the Church of San Juan de Puerta Nueva, in Zamora's Plaza Mayor, stands the monument to “Merlú,” a bronze sculpture created by local artist Antonio Pedrero Yéboles and unveiled in 1996. The work pays tribute to the members of the Brotherhood of Jesus Nazareno who, during the early hours of Good Friday, walk through the city playing drums and horns, summoning their fellow brothers to the procession. The sculpture depicts the two brothers, one with a horn and the other with a drum, dressed in their characteristic tunics and hoods. The ensemble highlights the importance of Holy Week in Zamora, classified as of International Tourist Interest, and its connection to the city's historical heritage, personified by the Church of San Juan de Puerta Nueva, a Romanesque temple built between the 12th and 13th centuries and one of the icons of Zamora, notable for its rose window.
Payerne Abbey was a Cluniac monastery at Payerne, Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
The first church was built in the 10th century. In 960 it was expanded following the model of the Church of Cluny and the entrance hall was extended. A second building phase began in the middle of the 11th century, which brought the church to approximately its current appearance. A new nave was added around 1070-80.

Christ Church is the oldest building in continuous use in Dublin. The story of the cathedral begins almost a thousand years ago, when Viking King, Sitriuc Silkenbeard, build the first church on this site in about 1030. The Anglo-Normans rebuilt the cathedral in the 12th and 13th centuries and this is largely the building we see today, though it was heavily restored in the 1870s.

The capital of Andalusia is Seville. Castillo de Colomares or the Colomares Castle in Benalmádena is a unique homage to Columbus. The castle was built between 1987 and 1994 by , a doctor from the United States. Esteban, an avid admirer of Columbus, was surprised at the lack of information and recognition of the famous explorer. He then decided to pay a fitting homage to the discoverer of Las Americas.
Castillo de Colomares is a monument, in the form of a castle, dedicated to the life and adventures of Christopher Colombus. It was built near Benalmádena in Spain, between 1987 and 1994. St. Mary’s Church is one of the oldest brick churches in the Lake Mälaren Valley and the oldest building in Sigtuna still in use. The church was built by the Dominican order as their convent church, and construction began in the 1230s. The church is built of brick in a transitional style, between Romanesque and Gothic.

In 1864 Francis Fowke, the architect who designed the Royal Albert Hall and parts of the Victoria and Albert Museum, won a competition to design the Natural History Museum.
When he unexpectedly died a year later, the relatively unknown Alfred Waterhouse took over and came up with a new plan for the South Kensington site.
Waterhouse used terracotta for the entire building as this material was more resistant to Victorian London's harsh climate.
The result is one of Britain’s most striking examples of Romanesque architecture, which is considered a work of art in its own right and has become one of London's most iconic landmarks.
