Today, for third time this year, the Wachovia bank across the street was robbed. Robbery of banks has increased since the downturn of the economy. In some cases people just steal the entire ATM from its location, location. Its really is bizarre.

Last summer, while we were in the drive-through at the Dairy Queen at Lomas near Louisiana, it was robbed. The DQ robber was a nutjob who threatened to track us down and kill me. Didn't get our ice cream, either.
We were the last customers that DQ had -- after that they threw in the towel and the place is for lease.

I fail to understand how I paid nearly $30 in tolls on this strip of I-80 and it was in the most fucked up shape of any interstate I've been on in my entire life. The surface of the moon would have made for a better ride.

At a stoplight in North Minneapolis when, out of the blue, three police cars pull up at a gas station and 5 or 6 cops bust out, point their guns at two men in an SUV, and start yelling, "Get Down!" The crowd huddled in the left corner just out of the frame. I sat between two cars at a stop light, wondering if gunfire was going to break out. I would have been stuck. It was maybe a minute that went by. I raised the BlackBerry and took a photo through the glass. The light turned green, I moved on. The police were still pointing their guns. If you look closely, you can see two of them, one holding his gun steady, another running into the frame on the right. Strange day.

This silent western animation takes place somewhere with cactuses, a bank and a cameraman with a snapperboard who thinks it would be nice to hold the snapperboard two over the lens of the camera.
