The ditch made a safer place of retreat when the oncoming behemoths got too close.

The beauty of taking a road trip through a country like India is that you see such incredible sights like this one. The stark location is upstaged by the brilliant red of the watermelon.

Only the front of this abandoned hardware store building remains. Located at Levanna, an Ohio River Community. Certainly is close to the highway.
This Red Tailed hawk treated me to a nice pose on this stump right alongside the road.
West slope Sierra foothills, NE of Bakersfield. I probably saw 50-60 Red-tailed Hawks this day.
Roadside crosses and shrines are typical folklore and spiritual elements of Polish countryside landscape. This particular one is located near Rudawa village in Malopolska Region, Poland.

While visiting my sister in Victoria, Texas April 2021 we did some touring of wineries that were close by. Along the way we stopped on the roadside when we saw a potential photo shoot. The wineries of course had their own scenic landscapes with the grape vines and the river close by.
