I visited Disneyland on Sunday April 24, 2016. It was warm and sunny, and very crowded. I took a few photos of the construction for Star Wars Land in the northwest corner of Disneyland. It can be best seen from the upper levels of the Mickey and Friends parking structure. There is a barrier in the Rivers of America near Critter Country, to hide the construction area, and also serve as a dam so the river is still full of water south of it. In World of Disney there was a new cute tee shirt 'I don't do mornings' with images of Anna waking up with bedhead. In China Closet, there were some new water bottles with images of Disney Princesses. Also some new sculpted ceramic salt and pepper sets, including Rapunzel's tower, Peter Pan and Captain Hook's ship, Mad Tea Party teacups, and Dumbo with Mickey and Minnie.
A view of the Christmas Fireworks as seen from the Rivers of America. This was taken on the Mice Chat Photo Meet. Unfortunately, they killed the lights on the Mark Twain and dock when the fireworks started. This is a composite of the Mark Twain before the lights went out and a shot of the fireworks blended together.
You're looking at my favorite sight. Every time the Mark Twain passes by, with the waterfall of color falling across her starboard side I choke a little. Fantasmic! is my favorite show, and this single scene makes it something special for me. I'm not one to add text to photos, but well... here, I think it added something a little more. I have about 4 different versions of this shot - it took me a while to decide upon this one. I hope you all enjoy.
And no, I didn't forget the watermark, I couldn't bring myself to brand this image.

After Fantasmic ended, and a few minutes before park closing, I got this shot. They were doing more light tests and this was the last one I got before they started.

Happy #sailingshipsaturday! Hope you all are able to ride Sailing Ship Columbia before they close for next year, it's a great way to relax. Even though it will be gone for quite some time, We try to keep a positive attitude as new changes are to come.
