Canon 5D, 135mm L, I really love the performance of this lens..

A walk around the local Anglican / Episcopalian church yard was a walk of discovery...! Spring colours were bursting out all over the place.

In this instance, a "Rhododendron arboreum" (better known as a Tree Rhododendron) was ablaze with rich red flowers...! It's "...an evergreen shrub or small tree with a showy display of bright red flowers. It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Thailand (and in New Zealand!). It is the national flower of Nepal. In India it is the state tree of Uttarakhand and state flower of Nagaland as well as the provincial flower of Central Province in Sri Lanka..." ***

Canon 50D, 50mm, f/8, ISO 160, bulb setting ~35 seconds.

First light: Einstein light @ 1/128 with 8.5" reflector, camera left ~10ft.

Second light: white LED

When taking this photo, I wasn't sure if the LED counted against the 2 light maximum, so only one flash was used. Rich drew the diagram using the LED in complete darkness, then I manually fired the flash at the end.

Aaah candlelight, how I love it, always have done, stems from my youth?

Even when there would be regular power cuts and the cheap smelly white candles were lit? LOL

I wish you a day full of peace and goodness, thank you, M, (*_*)

We don't often get colorful sunsets here, but due to the afternoon thunderstorms the colors have been out of this world lately. Isn't it exquisite?!

Rich is my new mechanic. Rich just changed my life today. Thank you, Rich.

I'd had what I was told was a defunct muffler and an exhaust leak which was making both Pancake and I ill if we drove with the windows up. Plus the car sounded like a street rod and was killing me on fuel. Within minutes Rich diagnosed the problem and fixed everything in the same afternoon - it was not the muffler after all and I can once again hear my radio without blasting it full volume. I got out of there today for a little over $400 and this old 1997 Lexus is once again purring like a kitten! Bless your heart, Richard!

It's rich in stuff and doodads. I'm at a loss when it comes to naming these doodles.
