Revised for sticker prodution. This one's for the blackbook collectors. Hope to get them printed within the month?
fading memories: we are all looking for something of extraordinary importance whose nature we have forgotten....
A quick mockup working with Alexis Brion's version of my add contact version. This is a quick iteration, but thinking about the placement of the add contact buttons and how to use color to make their purpose more obvious. Clicking the don't add button could prompt you whether to make a new bulk sender, or to completely hide that contact.
An attempt is already underway to revise history.

It wasn't all that long ago that you could sit in a booth with a stack of pancakes being waited on by the same server that has waited on you for years and already knows what you want - at the Perkins that formerly occupied this site.
This is the revised version. Thanks to Liam Leslie for the suggestion of using the Shadow/Highlights tool in PS. Amazingly, I'd never used that tool before... didn't even know it existed!! So thanks again Liam.

I did a revised version of that image you`ll find further back in my photo stream.
Colour enhancements and sharpening were done in the LAB modus.
I think it looks crisper, sharper, has got better colours, it`s just cleaner.
I`ve resisted to enhance the yellow of the sky near the golden hour ;-)
I originally posted this image about 3 years ago, but I was never happy with it. I've learned a lot since then, so after revising it, I am posting it again.
Following Gripshift terminal breakdown ...
The Specialized Crossroads now has new Shimano integrated shifters/brake levers - not by any means top of the range but really effective - and grips courtesy of local bike shop on the Avenida in Olhão, excellent stubby anatomic bar-ends from Decathlon in London, Minoura "Space Grip" which I think came from F W Evans in London, and pink bell of unknown provenance.
UPDATE: on 1 December 2019, this bicycle was stolen from an address in Olhão, Portugal. If you happen to see it somewhere, please let me know.

One of the more sympathetic views of the much maligned Walkie Talkie skyscraper...... From immediately behind it the characteristic bulge is hardly noticeable.
On the subject of London, I'm organising another London Flickr Group photowalk for Saturday April 23rd, more details here if anyone is interested :

From Wikipedia : "20 Fenchurch Street is a commercial skyscraper in London that takes its name from its address on Fenchurch Street, in the historic City of London financial district. It has been nicknamed 'The Walkie-Talkie' because of its distinctive shape. Construction was completed in spring 2014, and the three-floor 'sky garden' was opened in January 2015. The 38-storey building is 160 m (525 ft) tall, making it the sixth-tallest building in the City of London and the 12th tallest in greater London.
Designed by architect Rafael Viñoly and costing over £200 million, 20 Fenchurch Street features a highly distinctive top-heavy form which appears to burst upward and outward. The entrance floor and 34 floors of office space are topped by a large viewing deck, bar and restaurants are included on the 35th, 36th and 37th floors; these are, with restrictions, open to the public.
The tower was originally proposed at nearly 200 m (656 ft) tall but its design was scaled down after concerns about its visual impact on the nearby St Paul's Cathedral and Tower of London. It was subsequently approved in 2006 with the revised height. Even after the height reduction there were continued concerns from heritage groups about its impact on the surrounding area. The project was consequently the subject of a public inquiry; in 2007 this ruled in the developers' favour and the building was granted full planning permission. In 2015 it was awarded the Carbuncle Cup for the worst new building in the UK in the previous 12 months."

VMH45349 (MV38232) LJ17WTC at St John's Wood working route 13 towards Victoria.
First Group returns to London having purchased RATP Dev Transit London in December 2024, with the acquisition being complete at the end of February 2025. The same month saw one of the first vehicles receiving First Bus logos being a BYD Enviro City at Shepherds Bush and since then has appeared on many of the former RATP vehicles. Revised fleet numbers are yet to be added which VMH45349 will become 34929, oddly enough as it was 38232 when new to Tower Transit.
