Dr. James A. & Margaret C. Cross House built in 1960. Designed by Willis C. Dunham

I just couldn't take it. I left them in all day yesterday but every time I looked at her she looked 'too pretty' and her eyes were wrong. I must have re-adjusted them 100 times.

Remembering how some people paint upper lashes on smaller dolls and MHD, I decided to go that route. I extended her liner-line and added an upper lash in paint.

I am MUCH happier <3

Whilst changing the rear silencers for larger ones to reduce noise, I've reluctantly concluded I have to change the exit of my tailpipes - taking them away from the centre of the boot to behind the rear wheels.

I don't like the look of this arrangement, compared to the two straight pipes out of the centre, but this is the compromise to get rid of the fumes - for the moment at least, to get me on the road and start taking Sue out with me.

The noise level for this set up reduced to 88.7db using the longer and smaller diameter tailpipes at 4000 rpm its quite tolerable to stand along side the exhaust. - By comparison my wife's Fiesta only records 78.5db at 4000 rpm.

( Research suggests that a rear splitter could help reduce the swirling of the airflow behind the boot, and may allow centre rear exit tailpipes to work without fumes rolling back into the cabin, but whether this is achievable with my seat recesses, - lowering the ground clearance and accelerating the air under the car, then trailing radius arms, fuel tank sump, larger oval back boxes, and finally the Cabrio bumpers positioned further back all messing up the airflow, I really do not know. Without an air tunnel, I may never find out either, so this arrangement will have to do for now.

Given time, I may experiment with a simple splitter just to see what happens, but that will have to wait.....)
