I revised the first one and brightened it a little. I hope the affect is more fitting?
Hugenot State Park, Jacksonville, Florida.
This was taken behind the sand dunes adjacent the beach. I couldn't resist this charming scenery which reminded me of what the earth must have looked like before the advent of plate-techtonic movements. I hope I was able to relay that feeling through this image, and Thank You for taking the time to view and leave your comments and inputs. ~Digit_AL

I have my final exams of university when I get back to Scotland, so I had to revise while on my elective.
No-one in my year wanted to do their elective at this time of year because of the exams, but I reckon that revising in the Caribbean is way easier than revising in Scotland!
I spent most of my evenings out in the hammock on the balcony, until the mosquitos became too much to bear.
I'm going to hand-wire this on a proto board before going to PCB because I can't wait for a PCB, it's nice and easy and regular (no buses!), and I want to make sure I've got the analog bit right. And I have a good half dozen proto boards I need to use up (which were all of 40p each if memory serves), so 2 birds, one stone, KILL KILL KILL. etc.
But even so, I have to assume I'll be firing off a run of the PCB soon, and with that in mind I definitely couldn't trust the 3.5mm connector I had previously designed in, from the Eagle catalog, and IIRC also in the Ladyadafruit catalog. "Couldn't trust" meaning it wasn't clear to me at all if the connectors I could find on line were the same as the footprint in Eagle, and I cannot be arsed and do not have the time to learn the allegedly arcane and impenetrable Eagel component editing thing.
So I've revised the PCB, to something that I can definitely trust matches the component description. But it is sadly a bigger connector, so to make room I have also had to remove the pair of RCAs on the output and use the same 3.5mm stereo jack socket there.
But this is the version I'm going to be hand-wiring, in half-hour bursts over the next couple of weeks. Can't start yet, I need the components to arrive first.
Yesterday we went to Ueno park after arriving in Tokyo very early that morning (Tuesday 25th) in the glorious 24 degree sunshine to see the first opening of cherry blossom and found it was graduation day. All of the girls dress in beautiful traditional Kimono and Yukata for their celebrations. Everybody was asking them to pose for photographs on the way to their graduation and they all seemed more than happy to do so. However I managed to get a natural shot of a girl looking straight at me as she walked to meet her mother. After this shot she noticed me, gave me a huge smile and bowed, we had a brief chat and found she was graduating in music. Don't want to leave already and I've only been here a day! Don't make me come home, I belong in this country!!
I noticed a very strange white patch on my other photo, maybe accidental erasing in Photoshop haha.
