I love my Little Vampire Luna's new look. The scalp is fab, though the wind was making it less cooperative today :P. These dark purple chips I painted look great for her and I really love Brainworms ghost eyechips ^-^.
"Who asked you to save me?" she raged. "Don't you understand? The Makuta accepted me — they had use for me— which is more than my fellow Matoran ever did! I finally found a place where I belonged, and you took it away from me."
"But... you were evil," Takanuva said. "You were threatening people who had been your friends for years."
"Friends?" Gavla said bitterly. "They were never my friends. But you wouldn't understand — you're a Toa. Every Toa is your brother or your sister. You all rush around thinking whatever you do must be right. Well, sometimes it's not."

One of the major parts of the renovation is a completely renovated first floor and lounge in Pauley Hall.
Yay Gavla! I wanted to do something else with her weird little goblin body and had an old LEGO Batman speedboat set lying around collecting dust, so here we are. She's still fairly small, but is more of a quadruped now (without completely ripping off Radiak).
Gavla wasn't deeply characterized in the story, but did have a nice moment that briefly challenged the strict boundaries of a children's bad guy vs good guy narrative (like Krika does that same arc), so she stuck around in my mind for a while.
Also towballs are cool as hell and I want to use them more. They're much sturdier than I had assumed.
Self-Portrait n°9 : The Burden
Week 29st July to 4th August

"It's a burden for wrong reasons
But I keep hold of this pain
No more tears but common sorrow
Yet it wears off, day-by-day
Letting go; I never could but I surely need to heal
Sweet curse, my hell"

Glass and stainless steel form the super structure of the revamped Bruges station. Notice the open lift shaft providing step free access to the platforms from the central concourse below. When first approached the lift and shaft does give the impression of being unfinished, as it does from this angle, too. My website, www.delettertypes.nl, had a complete revamp and I'm delighted with the results. Couldn't have done it without the technical aid from Nancy @ www.kerskunst.nl.
Sandyford Industrial Estate is one of the largest industrial estates in Dublin.
The estate is notable as the location of the terminal halt and the works depot of the Luas Green Line.
The industrial estate has been revamped by the construction of many office and apartment blocks such as the Beacon South Quarter development which consists of the Beacon Hotel and UPMC Beacon Hospital.
A shopping centre opened as part of the Beacon South Quarter which has a Dunnes Stores as the anchor tenant. The Sandyford Motor Park is one of the biggest car dealerships in the county, with such car dealers as Mazda, Renault, Jaguar and Saab plus one of the best known used car dealers on the southside of the city.
Central Park is another office park in the Sandyford area with companies such as Vodafone Ireland and a new Bewleys Hotel.
An extension of the Luas Green Line was built through the Industrial Estate and Central Park is the first stop on the extended line.
Beacon Tower, completed in 2007, is the tallest building in Sandyford at 15 storeys.
The offices of Microsoft Ireland which employs approximately 1,200 people are located at the estate, this is the EMEA Operations Centre which was located in Ireland since 1985 and carries out a variety of activities including development and translation of Microsoft products.
