To move the gravel around, Edmonton Transit refurbished a 1912 loco to pull the trains that placed gravel in its LRV yard back in the 1980s. Taken 1986.

I wasn't exactly pleased with my other version of this, so I folded It out of a hexagon. And I am very much pleased with the result. I was amazed that I was able to do this all in one day! (It was alot of folding!)

Toxic Reapa was my second breakout set and he was pretty slick at the time, like Evo. I was inspired by Beardly Designs Voltix design and wanted to use that frame for something else. And Toxic Reapa seemed to fit that torso pretty well. Credit to him for the torso, arms and backpack design.

The original's stature was one of my favourite things about him, so whilst making him taller he's still not as tall as Evo, The guns of the original were terrible, so I gave him some real guns that he can holster. The tanks on his back are the best thing I've adapted from the original. I can't explain it well, but those tanks are the only trans neon green parts and they stand out superbly.

For the Revamp contest.

2019/06/23: Seems they improved this old square quite nicely.. Formerly Dominion Square now nicely laid out with renewed pathways and and a spruced up statue here in the heart of the city. Would be nice to work around here.

Made some felt blue bird appliques to jazz up the curtains.

Cost: less than a dollar

Cashew got a mini revamp with a gentle bath, broken eyelashes removed, eye change, and a bit of re-glossing on her lips. I'm very happy with the result of these minor changes. Saves me time, stress, and money over having her sent out for a complete makeover ❤❤❤

It seems to be the fashion among car manufacturers these days to revamp classic models from the past for the 21st Century; the VW Beetle, Mini and more recently the Fiat 500 spring to mind.

All very laudable, but in my view, somehow these updated models, asthetically speaking, don't have quite the same charm as their predecessors - sometimes things are better left as they are.

Italy still has a fair few classic Fiat 500's running around and I found this brightly coloured one in one of the small towns on the shores of Lake Como recently.

Note the tiny front numberplate, a feature that the Italians seemed to prefer so as not to to distract attention from the elegant lines (or in this case curves) of the vehicle.
