Just did some more adjustments to boost up the colors a notch.

A revamped version of LEGO set, Desert Expedition originally released in 1998.

I had almost all of the Desert line of Adventures sets as a kid, this was one of the few I didn't have.

When the crown/eggshell pieces was first introduced, I immediately wanted to use it for the trunk of a palm tree, and I have been waiting for 4 years to get it in an appropriate color. Now available in dark tan I immediately wanted to build something with a palm tree, and revamping this set is what I settled on.

I'm revamping some of my dolls/characters.

I tend to always keep backstories to myself but I do my best to make them reflect who they are in my pictures.

So, here is Shael, that same guy, with a twist. ;}

I love how he changed through the years.

I’d say this Toa Matau revamp is about 90% complete. I’ve started working full time and moved away from my lego collection so I don’t know when, if ever, I’ll get a chance to perfect him. I’ve been holding onto this picture for a while so I figured it was time to just post it.

Since i was making a vahki/nidhiki/whatever revamp, I decided to make a vakama revamp as well. I gave him a bow and arrow instead of his disc launcher.

Props to Buttloaf_Builds for the background edit

I wanted to add a bit more to my Church build that I built earlier this year.

He's finally done! So much happier with his build in every way now, the old version just looks sloppy to my eyes now.

Thanks so much for looking and have a great day!

Next in line of Rock Raiders set revamps is the 4970 Chrome Crusher. I must admit it was a difficult set to adapt to more realistic/modern standards and proportions. The front cabin was mostly taken from Andrew Somers' space truck but beefed up with a cage to protect the occupants from falling/flying debris. The antenna on the left was hard to translate into realistic sci-fi so that the best I got for it, the drill is much more functional and realistic now than the comical conical design. Sadly I removed the Large laser on top to increase clearance.

I rebuilt this out of nostalgia, then I made it better.

This photograph was taken on Tresco Island in the Isles of Scilly. It needed a little sharpening, hence the revamp.

Full of colour and I bet those feathers are sort after should they be shed.

Small roborider revamp which was made here, at megabricks museum from friend's lego parts. Hope you enjoy it! ^^

A revamped version of the city pizzeria from 1994 (set #6350) The original box art had a beach setting vibe in the background, so that led to things like the palm tree and surfers. Based off of the size I got the impression of it being more of a permanent "food truck" style structure rather than a restaurant. So I decided to keep the same size footprint but added some more details. One change I made was rotating the ovens so they faced inside the store rather than out the back, and I split it into two separate ovens rather than one two layered oven. I also wanted to focus more on the setting rather than the vehicle that was originally included in the set. So I eliminated the delivery service and unfortunately that meant that the delivery driver got demoted to being a janitor.

At last, we have a lawn again.

When I built my Ecto-1 back in 2013, as one of the first cars of my movie car collection, I based its design on my older pink Cadillac convertible. However, since that was built in pink, with few colours available, it was a bit crude. I have since taken it apart and have subsequently rebuilt Ecto-1, using loads of parts not available in pink.

Old images given a re-vamp !

To tweak this build I started by overhauling the boat; changing it from two rowboats connected end-to-end into a shape more fitting Bard's lake-going tub. Bonus, it also now holds exactly 14 barrels.

With one of those boat hulls I then built the door to the Master's house. And then I built around it so the hull is completely hidden.

I tweaked the bridge so that it's now a proper cantilever design. The jail cell also now has a more fitting door, which the Master's key fits nicely.

I also tweaked the armoury so that it's a bit more impressive.

Besides all that, a lot of the elements are very similar to the originals. While I didn't have all the parts I needed, I managed to tweak the designs to accommodate any necessary changes. Overall I think it looks pretty good.

Friend of mine has recently (re?)introduced me to the wonderful world of Transformers, and more specifically, the frankly fantastic toy of Prowl from Transformers Animated. Inspired, I got to building with parts from my old Roborider collection and ended up with this, a Frost cycle that is also able to transform (without removing any parts) into a humanoid form for conquering what its bike cannot.

Originally intended as something of a sentient defense for Slizer computer systems, the viruses the Roboriders encountered began to twist into strange and horrifying shapes that required evolution of their own to combat the toxic data stream. However, this particular program, with a cynical personality, found itself tagging along as Slizer Turbo was whisked into an alternate dimension to fight in a grand multiversal tournament. Discovering Turbo had an additional sentient lifeform in its databanks, Frost was extracted into a new physical body as a separate contestant.

Revamp. Rename. Cant wait to open! My own original mesh.

Intense daberoni.

He's about 95% complete. I'm still waiting on a trans-medium blue stud for his heart light and a few other small things in the mail, but I figured I could post a photo since he's mostly finished. Overall I think this build is far superior to his old one! I'll of course post a real album when he's truly finished.

Part 1/6 of the Web of Shadows titans. Always loved the Voporak 3-in-1 set and I wanted to give them the revamp treatment.

XT4 was one of 24 industrial mining drones stolen by villains and reprogrammed to cause chaos, although one was reprogrammed to be a villain by Black Phantom.

Now that XT4 has joined the Legion of Darkness, Black Phantom has seen fit for XT4 to be upgraded to better infiltrate and destroy Hero Factory.

Fun fact: Ben Cossy challenged me this time last year to make my own interpretation of XT4, as I think the set is.. not good at all. So I hope he likes it and I hope you do too!

this is already on my stream.

just trying new software out.

as im not able to get out of the house to take any photos.sorry for not been around.

Antique ENB custom LUT

It's a version of Bulk that is often forgotten but very special, so now was the perfect time to give him some attention, and some height!

This was an absolute blast to make, this initially started with making the weapons. I tried to be faithful to the original set and recreate the weapons as identical as possible. I'm very proud of the end result!

Inspirations for this build was the original set and Megaman.

First of all, my apologies for the sucky quality of the picture. My IPhone is getting old and finding the right angle to make this look as nice as it looks in RL was hard.

Anyway, this is obviously a revamp of Uxar. Most of my "revamps" are actually not revamps of the actual creature; but are meant as Rahi for my storyline.

I tried to base it on this amazing drawing (36.media.tumblr.com/08bac475a77c6e387e281aae654f0f95/tumb... ) and I'm slowly getting there. It will never be completely accurate as I wanted it to be smaller than the actual Uxar. I'm currently stuck due to lack of parts, but it's nothing a bricklink order can't fix !

A reimagining of an infamous G2 skull villain.

Earlier this year, I decided to recreate the Hero Factory set Jetbug as a mecha.

The hips are based on this concept by jakobekvall, but use 3D-printed parts. The upper torso is based on ReFrame V2 by Messymaru. The legs are also inspired by his work.

Many elements of the design, like the body, the lower legs, or the shoulder shields are inspired by the Gundam Astaroth Origin.

brickstudios is holding a 3K celebration contest on Instagram, and one of the categories is "Revamp," so I took a couple figures from my recent figbarf day on Instagram, and a couple new old parts I got a few days ago, and I decided to make a couple revamp figs!
