Taking John Stephen's build here a step further. I can't get away from allowing my builds to be able to hold spears or javelins behind the back. By the way, I have no idea what JS did for the arms and hands but the current build here is my iteration of the same.

Am still adding to this - more pictures to go p.

NOTE: Everyone means "everyone" not just your friends, so pay attention.

Revamped an old image, which was a JPEG taken before I realised the value of RAW files.

Skrall Razor revamp, changing his look because the legs are too long for him and I want to create the look I wanted from him.

Getting there. Gertrude Jekyll rose with heavenly scent.

When not in use, the spinneret can be folded down and its assembly can be moved up into a little backpack thing.

I love my Little Vampire Luna's new look. The scalp is fab, though the wind was making it less cooperative today :P. These dark purple chips I painted look great for her and I really love Brainworms ghost eyechips ^-^.

The hallways in Pauley-Rorem will alternate between painted and bare brick.

Toxic Reapa was my second breakout set and he was pretty slick at the time, like Evo. I was inspired by Beardly Designs Voltix design and wanted to use that frame for something else. And Toxic Reapa seemed to fit that torso pretty well. Credit to him for the torso, arms and backpack design.

The original's stature was one of my favourite things about him, so whilst making him taller he's still not as tall as Evo, The guns of the original were terrible, so I gave him some real guns that he can holster. The tanks on his back are the best thing I've adapted from the original. I can't explain it well, but those tanks are the only trans neon green parts and they stand out superbly.

II bought the wooden unit in a local charity shop today, it was just what I was looking for. So I have been able to expand and re-arrange my altar. Earth and air are represented on the new cabinet, and fire and water on the little table which was my old one. The drawers have candles and incense in them, and there is storage room at the bottom too.

This was suggested by a subscriber of mine over on the Youtube! Overall, it was a pretty fun build. I kept the gear function, but made several other changes and modifications.

This was the Rock Wedding Erin I re-rooted and enhanced the face paint on a bit ago here: www.flickr.com/photos/elizabethdolls/15469202871/ . I wasn't loving her look so she got bright red lips and lashes( I hate doing lashes, lol) and a nose ring. Now, I'm noticing she looks alot like Pure Erin, but I guess I am a fan of black hair and red lips. =-D

The nose ring is just a straight pin with the tip clipped down. I am going to try to find different ones for her for fun. But, I'm pretty happy with it for now.

We're using advent as a trial run of our new bulletin layout. We were having too much trouble getting write-ups from each ministry about their events, so we've moved to a simple calendar format on the outside and general info and special announcements on the inside.

A true departure from the classical style of ice villains, Pridak was an incredibly divisive set when originally released in 2007, and condemned as one of the weaker Barraki designs. Abstract in frame, he was one of several Barraki to experiment with a more fluid design and set designer Brian Ellis’ recent YouTube video has brought some insight into the complicated design process that led to his conceptualization.

Stylized as a shark-piranha hybrid, Pridak was originally intended to have a double-jointed torso, though his design was simplified to accommodate the bloated parts budget of later 2007 sets. The end result was a single Hordika-neck joint propping up two Vahki torsos, which left a great deal to be desired. Unfortunately, this meant that the design also strayed some distance from Brian's original intentions for the figure.

With this revamp, I’ve endeavored to build on the original design intended for Pridak, with my own spin. I’ve added smooth Inika armor plating with red spikes for that shark motif and have even reinforced his legs with period-appropriate TECHNIC links, for the illusion of emaciated muscle.

This was a very fun project to set myself: honor the original design as though there’d been unlimited budget. This isn’t a far cry from my usual ‘simplistic’ design style and I hope I’ve done Pridak some justice by presenting a MOC that could’ve been an official set!

With the addition of Piraka legs and a piston added to his chest, Pridak is now living up to his fullest potential as the leader of the Barraki!

revamp of an old character

I finally did something for Wardrobe Refashion! I took a very dowdy calf-length skirt and turned it into this flirty little number. (Of course, the boyfriend keeps trying to convince me to make it shorter.) I wish I'd taken a picture of the before version, but just imagine a too-big frumpy skirt. This is part of my Halloween costume, which will be Little Red Riding Hood. Keep an eye out for the rest of the pieces as I get them together. I think I may buy a new pair of boots for this, which will be the first item of new clothing I've bought since May (not including some socks I needed for work).

Hi, just a little sign of life from me^^. I'm really busy right now, I have found a job, so I'm working full time now. Also I'm in the middle of moving to another city. Most of my dolls and supplies are packed away and I don't have much free time anyway right now. I'm working on a little modding / face-up project now and then, but I don't know when I will finish it, or when I come back to my dolls in a regular scheme.

So, I'm happy I can show my newest BJD purchase at least: a wonderful Supia Eunice head who replaced my LLT Edria head as Severine^^

Students moved into the completed rooms in Pauley starting Oct. 22. Work has begun on Rorem, and will continue through the winter.

Overall, Matoran Makuta has the same build as my other Matoran revamps (check the gallery), but I did make some alterations to the colors and parts used.
