Charlotte Street presented SATELLITE, a staged reading of a new play by Melina Neet, as part of the Charlotte Street Studio Residency Program ¶ Series.
SATELLITE is a play about an Iraq veteran’s return to his small Missouri town, where his attempts to forget his experience collide with his friend recovering from the loss of his wife. The action takes place in a bar in the process of being renovated, which instills a sense of the transitory and remote nature of the characters’ relationships with one another and with the world outside Lenton, Missouri.
