3FM Serious Request is onderweg en levert dag en nacht mooie radio, tv en internet op. Allemaal met als doel zoveel mogelijk geld op te halen voor een stille ramp.

The of the annual subs. from 5/ to 10/ was opposed by the delegates from Hampstead Garden Suburb, but was carried with a large majority. In Rule 8 it was agreed without division to strike out the words after VP. The term of office of the latter to be 3 years. In rule 10, the words "if possible" were struck out & 7 substituted for 14.
Election of Officers: In vacating the Chair, Mr. Turner took the opportunity of thanking the delegates & officers for their support & cooperation during his term of office & explained his reason for retiring from the office of President. He introduced as his successor, Councillor H Foreman JP, the Mayor of Hammersmith, & claimed the loyal support of the association for the incoming President. The nomination was sec. by Mr. Braithwaite in an able speech enumerating the Mayor's qualification. In support Messrs. Woodroffe, Thompson, Sinclair, Renwick, Williams, Brown & Wray extended on behalf of their respective clubs, a welcome to the Mayor of Hammersmith in his new capacity.
The motion was then carried with acclimation & the Mayor, in taking the chair was greeted with enthusiastic applause. In returning thanks, Mr. Foreman promised to help the association in every possible way, & expressed his intention to present a trophy to the association as a permanent memorial of his mayoralty of Hammersmith, to be allocated as the committee might determine, & whoever might be the winner or winners, he would be pleased to give a small gold medal or medals in addition. This generous offer was accepted with musical honours.
