Relatively few of this style of tram stop were installed as the system was by then due for closure. Until the end most tram stops were of much older and varied designs.

De Enschedese binnenstad staat in het teken van 3FM Serious Request, Let's hear it for the babies. In het Glazen Huis op de Oude Markt zitten 3FM DJ's Giel Beelen, Gerard Ekdom en Michiel Veenstra om zo veel mogelijk geld in te zamelen voor de allerkleinsten: miljoenen baby's die hulp nodig hebben om te kunnen blijven leven.

This was requested by a co-worker for is mother's 67th birthday. She's a huge Cincy Reds fan - can you tell? This was the first time that I incorporated "non-edible" items into the design of one of my cakes but I love the end result!! The batting helmet, cracker jack box and tickets are all "non-edible". The baseball is made from white chocolate and the penant is made from gumpaste and edible markers. I used a 12" square chocolate cake as my field, fondant "bases" and brown granulated sugar for the dirt. (45)

Het Glazen Huis van 3FM staat dit jaar op de Grote Markt in Groningen. Ik heb vanmiddag rond één uur een kijkje genomen. 't Was er rustiger dan ik had verwacht, maar dat heeft vast met het weer te maken.
Wil je nog een bijdrage leveren, dan kun je bijvoorbeeld via deze site of het telefoonnummer 0909-1336 een plaat aanvragen.
Op de site kun je ook merchandise bestellen. Ik raad je alleen niet aan een beker te bestellen, want de beker die ik bij de truck op de Grote Markt heb gekocht, bleek bij thuiskomst zo lek als een mandje. Misschien zijn de speciale Serious Request kerstzegels een veiliger optie ;-)

Ben vandaag met de lekkende beker terug geweest naar de Grote Markt. De medewerkers van de merchandise truck hebben me beloofd, dat ik per post een niet-lekkende beker toegestuurd krijg. Dat moest, omdat de bekers al uitverkocht zijn. Ik ben blij dat ze met deze oplossing kwamen!
Toen ik vanmiddag op de Grote Markt was, deed Bløf een koptelefoonconcert. Vreemd gezicht, zo'n spelende band terwijl je er niets van hoort!

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.
