Another of the 3D printers I've seen a lot about online. I got spend some time talking to the owner and asking some questions I had surrounding the whole process, from purchase to getting competent with the machines. He was very helpful and supportive.

To replicate this piece by the artist László Moholy-Nagy, I started by dragging and dropping the original image into photoshop. I then used the rectangle shape tool and distorted each shape to match the image, almost like tracing. To Match the colours, I used the eyedropper tool to pick colours from the original image. To finish, I added a small amount of noise and blur to my replication in an attempt to create texture.

For this assignment I decided to replicate one of Barba Kruger’s own photos, the one I chose is untitled but many have named it Love For Sale, as the text that's overlaid reads the same. The photo itself is quite striking, showcasing a woman covering her face in what I assume would be in a state of fear. Here signature style of adding text is present, with maybe an impeded message of prostitution or lost innocence. The photo is in black and white, so is the text, but the photo is bordered by her signature use of red. I tackled replicating this photo in many ways, making sure to close up and to have some extreme source of light. At first I tried using a regular house light but found a flashlight worked best, adding to the photos a slightly artificial and surreal feeling. I made sure my model(my girlfriend) had on fake nails and laid on a bed. In post I turned the photo black and white, increased the contrast, and added the text. Overall I believe I got the final image to be quite similar to the source material, which I'm content about.
Replicability of maximum likelihood trees.Left, phylogenetic tree from [1] using 21 populations and 54 bp reads Right, phylogenetic tree from the current study using 25 populations and 80 bp reads. Branches leading to W. mitchellii and W. vanduzeei are abbreviated to clarify presentation. Color code indicates region of geographic origin. Numbers show nodal support as aLRT-SH scores. Two-letter abbreviations identify each state or province. Where two or more sites come from the same state or province, they are identified by number. Latitudes, longitudes, altitudes, and acronyms connecting the specific localities with earlier studies from this lab are provided in Table S1. The scale bars indicate substitutions per site.
