Another of the 3D printers I've seen a lot about online. I got spend some time talking to the owner and asking some questions I had surrounding the whole process, from purchase to getting competent with the machines. He was very helpful and supportive.
Designer Grains replicated carved panel. Entire Ballroom Suite of a Bavarian Castle (circa 1700's) was purchased by client from a French Museum and re-built at their home in Woodside, CA. Numerous panels were replicated and custom-sized to fit the new home's interiors.

Christmas lights. I was gonna try and replicate this picture for this week, but it was cold, and I didn't try to hard. I bought another tripod though. And we are going out to the country to see my grandparents. That'll be fun. And my step-dad's not coming. :D But Bello and Brittany are. Bello is still in confinement because I let him out too soon and it came back. It's gone again, after only four days. When we go up to my grandparents he is gonna have to be locked in a room or tethered to me most the time (and I'm lazy, so he'll have to lay around, lol). But I love it up there so I'm holding back on a 52 Week picture until I see what I take while up there.
By the way, Christmas isn't fun anymore now that I feel obligated to buy people stuff. I've spent almost 2oo dollars (okay, so I bougth a tripod and dog toys) and I have to go back out shopping today for more. Decided the dogs can come with me and sit in the car. This is why I love cold weather, I can lock the dogs in the car without feeling guilty. ;D And we'll probably go to the pet store and get the Christmas presents, and maybe Bello a jacket. I have a feeling he will need one. But after a trip to the bank to make sure I have money. D8
To replicate this piece by the artist László Moholy-Nagy, I started by dragging and dropping the original image into photoshop. I then used the rectangle shape tool and distorted each shape to match the image, almost like tracing. To Match the colours, I used the eyedropper tool to pick colours from the original image. To finish, I added a small amount of noise and blur to my replication in an attempt to create texture.
My friend drew a replication of me on a munny doll. Even though it's not an exact replica, it comes really close! She's such an artist!
Thanks Nonaka!
Inspired by the Neo-Romantic Realism style painting of Lake Como, Italy, our Vista Above the Lake Tapestry boasts replicated colors and visuals as the original by Bob Pejam. This tapestry depicts a pathway to a flower laden gazebo beyond with the lake vista to the right. This piece will bring a perception of overlooking the lake yourself and looks lovely hanging above a bed or sofa as if looking through a window. The tapestry is carefully woven in cotton with viscose added for a silky feel. It comes ready to hang with a finished backing. It is imported.

Alliance, NE (Box Butte County)
Just north of Alliance, Nebraska, along Highway 87, stands a replication of Stonehenge, England’s ancient mystical alignment of stones that chart the sun and moon phases.Stonehenge stands alone on a plain in England.Carhenge towers over the plains of Nebraska.
Carhenge consists of the circle of cars, three standing trilithons within the circle, the heel stone, slaughter stone, and two station stones. Sir John Aubrey first recognized the earthworks and great stones as a prehistoric temple in 1648. It was not until excavations undertaken in the 1920’s that there were found to be holes cut to hold timber uprights. A total of 56 holes were discovered and named the Aubrey Holes in honor of his observation.
Additional car sculptures have been erected at the site known as the Car Art Reserve. One of the first sculptures to be added is the “Spawning Salmon” created by 29 year old Geoff Sandhurst from Canada. He won a $2500 prize and placement of his car art creation at the Reserve. (1)
