Repeating patterns/ Leading Lines

This project was actually very fun to do. I enjoyed taking all my pictures and they were very quick. My pictures are of a type of gutter. The other is of a gate.
The leading line is the gutter with grass in it. There was also a sprinkler and I like how it brings your eye to a grove thing. I also contrasted it to look a little better because the lighting was off.
The repeating pattern is a gate I found. I also contrasted it because of lighting. While I was waiting for time exposure a car drove by and left the trail of light you see.
All in all this project was very fun. I liked how it make me look for patterns and lines. I hope to have more projects like this later.

...trying to capture repetition - not very successfully. Maybe zooming in even more will do the trick. There is a tradeoff between getting good repetition without losing the focus on what you are repeating. For instance, I wanted the imposing grill on the truck to be in the picture without losing the endless row of new trucks parked impeccably in a row. Dodge dealership in Norman, OK.

I visited a friend who had a thingy that was like a one power telescope. There was a system of mirrors inside that made it act like a kaleidoscope except that it repeated and combined the scene in front rather than little pieces of internal glass. This is a shot through the eyepiece while looking out his front window. I've got to try and make one of the scopes up for my own use since I can't find one for sale.
