I'm taking a photography class (it's about time!). This was for an assignment. Kinda missed a proper DOF, as the bottom drop is blurry. But I do like that "string of pearls" in the middle!
9/6/10
This was taken in Whitstable harbour. These huts house the fishermens' catches for the day. Yes, they do stink.
as soon as I saw the prompt I must admit i didn't even bother to listen to the rest of the video, is that bad?!?!?!?!
I already knew what set of photos I was going to do, so I found these.
The large one is my mum when she was a baby, with my Nan.... and the smaller black and white is my youngest daughter, pulling the same stupid face!!!!
My Grandad found this slide, whilst he was looking through for nice ones of my Nan. and thought it was funny that they looked the same, he restored the slide to a photo and brought it to show me.
Non of my other children have done this, only Elsie.... and i never did it either, its funny that with 50 years between them they look identical and pull the same face.
thanks for looking xxx

"Lots of Faces"
This was done with a SB-800 mounted on the camera set on the headboard of the bed. I set the camera off using a Nikon remote trigger set to a 2 second delay so I had time to start the timer and then throw him in the air. Repeat set to 8 shots per frame (count the heads....) and I think 20Hz frequency. Pretty cool option on the flash, although my arms started to hurt from throwing him in the air to get the shot :)
this tiles seamlessly as desktop wallpaper. I made it by scanning a piece of wood and massaging it in photoshop.
