Has anyone tried photographing one of these remote control vehicles. I am not sure of the speed they get up to, but I think I have whiplash.
As I was riding my bike around César Chávez Park in Berkeley last weekend, I heard a strange buzzing, and saw some unidentifiable objects flying around in the sky.
Upon further investigation, I came upon three of the most creative individuals I've run across in a long time. These guys make homemade R/C (radio controlled) aircraft of the most eye-catching and improbable designs. They fly amazingly well, but if their aircraft crash, they have tape and glue at the ready, and they are airborne again within minutes.
These guys were super friendly, and it was a blast to hang out with them and witness their shenanigans. As I've been flying a small quadcopter for the past few months and have a larger one arriving any day, this chance meeting couldn't have come at a better time. I was able to ask all sorts of questions about LiPo batteries, battery chargers, soldering, radio controls, etc. etc.

The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite and the fifth largest satellite in the Solar System. The average centre-to-centre distance from the Earth to the Moon is 384,403 kilometres (238,857 mi), about thirty times the diameter of the Earth.

OberflächentemperaturAufgrund der langsamen Rotation des Mondes und seiner nur äußerst dünnen Gashülle gibt es auf der Mondoberfläche zwischen der Tag- und der Nachtseite sehr große Temperaturunterschiede. Am Tag erreicht die Temperatur eine Höhe von bis zu etwa 130 °C und fällt in der Nacht bis auf etwa −160 °C ab. Als Durchschnittstemperatur ergeben sich 218 K = −55 °C. In manchen Gebieten gibt es lokale Anomalien, in Form von einer etwas höheren oder auch etwas niedrigeren Temperatur an benachbarten Stellen. Krater, deren Alter als relativ jung angesehen wird, wie zum Beispiel Tycho, sind nach Sonnenuntergang etwas wärmer als ihre Umgebung. Wahrscheinlich können sie durch eine dünnere Staubschicht die während des Tages aufgenommene Sonnenenergie besser speichern. Andere positive Temperaturanomalien gründen eventuell auf örtlich etwas erhöhter Radioaktivität.
