I hope some of you remember my sweet Peach-Faced Lovebird, Cutie-Pie, It's the anniversary of his passing, so I thought I'd post this pic in memory of him. He was one of my best models. Happy weekend everyone =)
When I see you when I miss you
I remember the day we were together
But still I love you~~!
Nói với em bây giờ, my love
But still I love you~~!

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

One of the last roses in the garden, a little brown around the edges from the frost but still lovely.
It's been a year today since I lost my mother and since she loved roses, there could be no other photo to remember her by.

There is so much tragedy around us. But in our darkest hours, and when those we love are taken from us, we should always remember this:
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Who is Worthy? Christ is.
I am so sick and tired of the supposed inconsistencies and lies around the downing of MH17. What if the western allies did it themselves through their proxy Ukraine? Will we ever know? And if we ever get to know the truth, how will we proceed from there with those lying governments?

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don’t let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Once there was a darkness, deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light

'.. le temps le plus tendre du monde'
and since november this year is so exceptionally soft...
mixing up more than a few things here, I know
juggling with colors and words, poetry and light
on different subjects at the same time
in past, present and future sense
seemingly making not much sense at all
just the best I could do, the best I could find
to accord well with the heavenly of both
main thing is to love and catch the magic
the beautiful marriage of sound and image
the things going beyond common understanding
the deep positive emotions underneath
no matter what circumstances we were/are/will be in
when it was starting and coming together...
eventually it 'll just become whole
it 'll all make perfect sense, 'cause
we do this for the sake of balance
only sometimes we need to go out of balance
in order to reach some more
in order to better reconnect and reunite
with what was pure and always will be
we do all this for the sustainability of our nature,
the sustainability of our love, peace and harmony
in order to keep and make it real always more
This is one of my old sketches from 51 years ago. I scanned it into photoshop and processed like a charcoal sketch. I did a lot of artwork and photography in High School, but afterwards college, work and family didn't leave me time for such things. As I got older, I missed it, and I guess that's why I took up photography again.
Poem by Robert Laurence Binyon (1869-1943), published in The Times newspaper on 21 September 1914.
With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
England mourns for her dead across the sea.
Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
Fallen in the cause of the free.
Solemn the drums thrill: Death august and royal
Sings sorrow up into immortal spheres.
There is music in the midst of desolation
And a glory that shines upon our tears.
They went with songs to the battle, they were young,
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
They mingle not with their laughing comrades again;
They sit no more at familiar tables of home;
They have no lot in our labour of the day-time;
They sleep beyond England's foam.
But where our desires are and our hopes profound,
Felt as a well-spring that is hidden from sight,
To the innermost heart of their own land they are known
As the stars are known to the Night;
As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust,
Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain,
As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end, they remain.
