In 2018, MEC announced that it would open its first store in Saskatchewan. That first store will be located in the Midtown Plaza in downtown Saskatoon where the old food court was located.
To make way for the new store, the mall built a new feed court in the second level of what used to be the Sears store. Parts of the store have also been demolished.
It appears that the Tim Hortons location will stay put and remain where it is. Restaurants that didn't join the new food court include Koryo.
The new food court, called Midtown Common, officially opened on July 26, 2019.

Office relocation – Country State,

CFS Fitout worked closely with the staff and management at Country State, Sydney meet the specific requirements to re-design the current working environment.
Working within the scope of the project requirements, CFS Fitout was able to successfully re-design, build, and install every components for this project, on time and within budget.
Key features for this project included the relocation from the 8th to 10th floor, re-design the current work environment, build new manager offices, new office desks & chairs, joinery & storage, build a new reception and boardroom.
Country State required a complete new office fit out from one level of the building to another level. As a result of this move the project involved office joinery, the relocation of power and overhead lighting, new office partition made from plaster and glass. New electricals and network cables, customer built and designed desks and workstations, office storage and reception area.
Finally, the project required the building of a a new board room with specialist table, chairs and projecttion facilties

The original house at Moggerhanger was small and of Georgian design. The house was acquired by Godfrey Thornton, a Bank of England director, who commissioned the Bank's architect, John Soane, to remodel it between 1790 and 1793. More substantial work would follow when Thornton's son Stephen inherited the house. Soane continued from 1806 until the scheme was completed in 1812 while the Bank of England reconstruction was under way. Soane remodelled Moggerhanger entirely, enlarging it to the west, relocating the entrance to the north and reproofing the house completely. He incorporated his previous work from 1793 maintaining symmetries and Classical axes. Soane experimented with decoration, using it as a prototype for future work.[2]
As Ptolemy Dean notes, "with so much of the old fabric concealed by later finishes, it was little wonder that the importance of this building had been so under-recognised. The sense that this house and estate would soon emerge as one of Soane's key masterpieces was unimaginable."[3]
The house was rendered by Soane using "Parker's Roman Cement" of biscuit-brown color. This was a new material, patented hydraulic lime render, of his time. The garden side of seven bays has a wooden veranda. In the centre is a shallow pediment on pilaster strips with sunk panels. The entrance has a low centre with a semicircular porch of Greek Doric columns of the Delos type. The end bays have on the ground floor arched windows with broad Grecian pediment over. Behind the porch is a square entrance hall once with a shallow dome. The window bars are painted dark grey, which causes the window detail to disappear so that pure shapes of openings are clearly visible appearing like punch recesses. Inside there is an all-cantilevered staircase with simple iron balustrade.
The gardens were designed by noted landscaper Humphry Repton. Only three other houses of Soane's are still standing: Pitzhanger Manor in Ealing, Tyringham Hall in Buckinghamshire, and Pell Wall Hall in Shropshire, plus the library at Stowe House in Buckinghamshire.[1]
The house was used as a hospital for most of the 20th century. In 1919 it was opened as a TB isolation hospital, and then became an orthopedic hospital in the late 1950s. In 1960 it was renamed Park Hospital, but closed in 1987 when a new wing was built in Bedford Hospital. From that point the house went into a state of disrepair. wikipedia

When we came home from our road trip we found that two younger bunnies were living underneath the deck in our back yard. We didn't want the pups to hurt them, so we caught them both and relocated them. They were so adorable!
I am recommissioning the Suzuki TS50 that I have owned from new in 1976, and that I imported to the UK from South Africa in 2009. On the evening of Sunday, October 7, 2012 I started working on the handlebars - removing the rubber grips and the South African number plate (TP3807).

The single light depicting St Francis de Sales now forming part of a two-light window in the nave would formerly have been set in the east window of the apse in the north chapel. I have not as yet been able to identify the maker of this window (who also made the two angel windows still in situ in the chapel).
Just off the main road leading out of the village of Husbands Bosworth is a little known Victorian gem, the Roman Catholic church of St Mary standing close to Bosworth Hall. At first sight it may seem a small and rather modest structure, its steep roof crowned only by a central bellcote and the main building of a simple 'two-cell' construction of nave and chancel without aisles, aside from the protruding north chapel which was a later addition to the chancel, which with its rose window facing the approaching visitor gives a hint of the glories within.
The church was built in 1873 to the designs of architect Gilbert Blount and remains largely untouched ever since apart from one major structural addition, the aforementioned north chapel that was built in 1891 as a chantry to house the tomb of the founder of the church, Sir Francis Fortescue-Turville. The designer of this chapel was Alfred Purdie, who succeeded Blount after his death as chief architect of his practice (it seems likely that the north wall is still Blount's work, having merely been dismantled and re-erected further outwards).
The interior comes as a surprise as this church may appear humble on first impressions but soon reveals a Puginesque ambition within. The nave is revealed as a light space under a steeply pitched open timber roof, but it is the darker, more mysterious chancel that draws the focus, for despite its diminutive scale this is among the richest of Victorian church interiors. The glass by Hardmans and the richly carved reredos announce their presences first, but as the eyes adjust to the subdued light here the richly painted walls and ceiling adorned by W. H. Romaine Walker are revealed in tones that have darkened a little with time but still make this space sing. Most remarkable of all is the vaulted ceiling adorned with angels and vines, which is uniquely pierced by four groups of small oculi containing stained glass roundels of angels, a unique feature (made all the more astonishing by the ease with which these windows are concealed on the exterior of the building, the openings disguised under glass tiles that blend almost seamlessly with the surrounding pottery roof tiles).
The north chapel contains the effigy of the founder and has a panelled and painted wooden ceiling of its own. The glass is partially reused Hardman windows moved outwards from the former north chancel wall, and glazing of the 1890s by an unidentified studio in the rose window and eastern apse (the central light of which was later replaced by Hardman glass from Whitley Abbey, also found in several other windows here, while the original central light has been relocated in a larger window on the north side of the nave).
I am greatly indebted to Fr Matthew Pittam for showing me this fine church for which he is now the incumbent. The church isn't kept open outside of Mass times but is in regular use for services and clearly (and rightly) well loved by the community.
Easier to relocate the light mount than to swap lamps with the born-again Trek and relocate the light mount there. And this way gives me a light mount that I can attach to another rack.
In addition to our backyard feral colony, we have fixed and fed a number of cats who come to the front of our house. We have always been uneasy about it, because many of these cats live across the street and must cross to get there. We've admittedly lost many cats to the cars that race heedlessly down the street. We always meant to do something about this but we recently lost our long-time feral Horace to a car and can no longer stand to let it happen. So we've begun trapping the front-yard ferals and assimilating them into the back yard crew.
UPDATE: Well, Horace showed up last night, so I guess he didn't get run over! We're still trying to get him and Mongo and move them in the back, it's still too risky on the street.

A very short video of Philip releasing one of the squirrels that we have been relocating... They have been destructive and I was over run with them so we decided to give them a new home where there are a lot more space... The others have run out into the field but of course this one wanted to head in the opposite direction..
This house is now located on highway 29 near Guelph. It originally was built on Dublin street Guelph where the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son funeral home parking lot is. The owner had purchased the house and then dismantled it piece by piece, then reassembled it at it's new location.

Madikwe Game Reserve
The Madikwe Game Reserve is a protected area in South Africa, part of the latest park developments in the country. Named after the Madikwe or Marico River, on whose basin it is located, it was opened in 1991 and comprises 750 km2 of bushland north of the small town Groot-Marico up to the Botswana border.
Madikwe Game Reserve lies 90 km north of Zeerust on what used to be farm land, but owing to the poor soil type, farming was not that successful. After extensive research, the South African Government found that this land would best be utilised as a provincial park, to economically uplift this otherwise rather poor area.
The process reintroducing wildlife to the area began in 1992 under the codename Operation Phoenix which relocated entire breeding herds of elephants, Cape buffaloes, south-central black rhinos and southern white rhinos along with various species of antelopes. Following Operation Phoenix, Madikwe has also successfully reintroduce rarer predatory species such as lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas and Cape wild dogs bringing the total large mammal population of the reserve to over 10 000. There are currently more than 60 species of mammal in the park.
