Intermezzo/dessert 1: supposedly a dish from 2003 that was created to embrace the concept of monochromatism. Apparently the chromatic part of the ingredients are "related to their taste aspect and the sensation produced: energetic, refreshing, vital, euphoric: Green chromology."

I can see how some might find this a little cerebral or precious, but I honestly find this new take, challenge and thematic pursuit as interesting and thrilling. It was also incredibly lovely on the palate and palette (with a matching thematic plate to boot).

The course was refreshing and fresh and alternated between green apple, avocado, pools of sweet eucalyptus and cream of lemon gel, Chartreuse candies, basil and sugar dusted mint sprigs that was capped with a quenelle of eucalyptus-lime ice cream (more like sherbet). It was subtle but lovely, embodying more tart than sweet flavours and was a great palate lifting intermezzo.

After a long day of travel, nothing is quite as refreshing as a long hot shower.

Just kidding! Just trying to see if you pay attention :-)

Baaah showers… Never!!!

We are quite exhausted though and will probably go to bed early.

Night night everyone!

And many hugs for everyone who’s very special to us, you know who you are :-)

We can come across such sights in nearby parks during moring. A refreshing massage ?

Mahabalipuram, is a town in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, around 60 km south of the city of Chennai. It is an ancient historic town and was a bustling seaport during the time of Periplus (1st century CE) and Ptolemy (140 CE), from where ancient Indian traders sailed to countries of South East Asia.

Found this one thrown away on the roadside. It's a pity that people still throw things away on the roadside while dustbins are so abundant over here.

It's so important on long rides to make sure you keep hydrated, dehydration can lead to double vision and poor performance - keep those energy levels up.

When I look at the water drops hanging down the roses I really felt as if I was refreshed. Also I thought of Korea after it rained. It always smelled so refreshing.
