One of my silly reflection shots.

I liked that the background was completely blurry and all attention focuses on the reflection in his glasses. I never really thought about taking a reflection shot until we were just tooling around and I noticed the reflection in his glasses. I said, wait! Hold it! And positioned right to take the shot. It was fun!

A walk on the northern end of Central Park on 09.18.16 the Harlem Meer up to The Reservoir. No exploding sunset colors that day but the water was so calm and I got lots of reflection shots.

I also checked out some buildings along Fifth Avenue across the park.

I have been trying more reflection shots lately

Ok... another reflection shot, but I had to use this. It shows a construction worker on a building site near St.Paul's Cathedral. I found the near perfect symmetry in the shot fascinating; the way the man seems to have a partner working in perfect coordination with him in some other dimension. It makes the ordinary seem extraordinary. If you look hard enough... you will see things like this everywhere you look, every day of your life.

Well, almost.

A window reflection shot. Dutchman's Trading Post is a wonderful antique store, many different vendors have tons of interesting old items there, and you can spend hours browsing through it all. I highly recommend this place for finding antique glassware and collectables, and many other items. Reasonable prices, and you're bound to find something amazing in there!

This is from where I work, there is an old building that is by the orchard. It is just a simple reflection shot but I like the brickwork and grotty window frame.

Another cool reflection shot with more of the truck interior.
