By request of a family member, a reflection shot, simple and straightforward for today. Can't wait till the weekend taking delivery of my Canon 50d.
Rotated reflection shot on a lotus basin of the Giant Standing Buddha.

You can see some etching remaining, but prior to a wax, this is very good with what has happened to the front.
Brighton. Easter 2009. I had to wait for this fellow to stop swimming in the pond to take the reflection shots.
So this is how my Daisy reflections shot came to be. I was at work (it's school holidays so it's just me, basically) waiting for service packs to download, so I picked a flower from the garden, taped it to a piece of white card, hung some cling-wrap from the edge of the bench, sprayed it with water and went nuts. But it was too dark and we don't have a flashlight, so I improvised and used an overhead projector.
Hacky, but you can't argue with the results ;)
And apologies for the blurry photo. My camera didn't autofocus and I had to work fast before the projector got too warm :B
