Shot at the KopvanZuid, a restructuring project in progress which has converted major parts of the old harbour area on the South bank of the Maas (with its defunct ports, warehouses and railway heads) into an integrated living, recreative and commercial service quarter. It’s comparable with the Docklands in London and the waterfront re-developments in Barcelona and New York.

Set out on a red rock hike yesterday with husband, dogs, and friend, but I dressed too warmly and despite rolling up sleeves and leggings, the uphill climb made me retreat to the shady canyon below where I played with the phone camera and remaining pools and leaves. I am never bored or feel left behind with camera in hand.

A wonderful lake near to the Karwendel mountain. This night the full moon illuminated the whole landscape. It was a crisp clear and windless night with great reflections on the water.

Bay City Michigan hosts the Tall Ships again with much excitement and high attendance. Every three years we enjoy a nice variety of Tall Ships and pirates. This year includes several new ships as well as some that have visited before.
