A cold wet day in Milford Sound. Technically a fjord created from glaciation during the last ice age, it is located in the south west of New Zealand's South Island, within Fiordland National Park. It has one of the worlds highest mean annual rainfalls of 6,412 mm (252 in). Te Wahipounamu World Heritage Site, New Zealand

A dive into the archive and I found this raw which I hadn't worked on . Unable to get out with my camera as I'm recovering from spinal surgery and going stir crazy. I'm just glad that I have a few files to play with. Can't wait to get out again in the next months and hopefully capture some of this winter's snow.
Went out for a bit of ice hunting yesterday. Found a few sites with unbroken palettes, but this scene yielded other delights than the usual shush of a slushy river.

Structures at the Wadden Sea, the Netherlands. Currently I am following a course to learn photography from a different angle and to look at your own signature. Dare to be different and look at the things differently as you you usually do. This is one of the images I made with new insights and kind of photography (landscapes) that I like. My signature.
A walk around this splendid area of Salford, Manchester is much enhanced by looking up and seeing such reflections. Here we see the two towers of the Salford Quays Lift Bridge.
Had a short trip to the Gulf Coast of FL recently and was fortunate to get some time with gators. This one gave me a nice reflection, so I dropped the blacks and made the most of what I was given.

Europe, Germany, Freie Hansestadt Bremen, Weser, Bremen, Überseeinsel, Hochhaus, Weser Tower (Helmut Jahn) (slightly cut from all sides).
The town of Bremen shares many characteristics with Rotterdam. The massive damage of the WW2, the transformation of old city harbour/industry zone. and it's lively alternative art and theatre culture.
Shown here is the 22 story 'Weser Tower' office highrise (hochhaus) (Helmut Jahn, 2009) on the Übreseeinsel, Úberinsel is an extensive urban redevelopment project that's converting the old harbour and industry zone of Bremen into a lliving, recreational and commercial quarter. There are many similarities with the Rotterdam 'Kop van Zui'd' urban renwal project.
This is number 105 of the Urban restructuring (World) album.
