Singapore at night under the influence of a huge storm. I was sheltering beneath a set of trees and hey presto completely non planned shot and I kinda like it.

The trees frame the urban scene and the reflection of the lights from the traffic add something else. I spent ages setting up other compositions and this is probably one of my favourites! Gotta love photography right? High ISO due to no tripod but you can't have it all!

Perhaps one of the greatest architectural monuments and such a perfect study of symmetry. Truly a breathtaking experience to see it for the first time.

Prince of Wales Dock

The Swansea Harbour Trust began constructing the Prince of Wales Dock in 1879 on Fabian's Bay to the east of the River Tawe. When construction was completed, the Prince of Wales dock was opened on 18 October 1881 by Edward, Prince of Wales, and extended in 1898 to its present size of 27 acres.

Triumph seen at the Historical Weekend in Den Helder with hundreds of classic cars, historic vehicles, old engines and tractors, military vehicles and fire engines with beautiful old cargo ships, fishing boats, steam tugs and other sailing maritime heritage make for a great event .
