If you were to get married in the parks, where would you do it?
Every time I wonder into Asia, I love to look around at the buildings and the details that Imagineering took to make the place look and feel the way it would be if I were really in these rural areas of the countries and cultures represented. I especially love the Yak n Yeti restaurant area. This white pavilion always looked like a great place for an outdoor wedding. It's why I...

OOOO BTW Broke 4,000 views! Ya'll rock!!!
This building looks pretty old to me. Going by the way it's designed and made that is. It's directly across from the York County Courthouse in York, SC.
Not sure if I like it as color or if I should switch to B&W.
HDR Single Raw Hand Held.
Ya'll need to check out this girl Heathers stream, she's got some great stuff and is relatively new(ish) to flickr. She's got some pretty cool stop motion vids and is looking to expand her contacts. Check her stream out here
What is your favorite area in ImageWorks?
My friend and I explored this area just the other day. I was looking for more photos of EPCOT and hadn't spent much time on the west side of the park. We had some fun and even got a coordinator called on us for taking pictures. I'll tell more about that when I post the picture we waiting to get. Keep an eye on his youtube channel to see more of our adventures. I love this spot in EPCOT. I'm a huge fan of...

Ok, so I'm starting to play around with HDR. This is one image, with the HDR effects added in Photoshop CS5. I'd love feedback, both on this image and your techniques for HDR.
Are you going o Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? I want to see your costumes!
Walt Disney World have put on it's fall colors and is ready for Halloween. This year with a celebration of the movie Hocus Pocus. 2 Years too late if you ask me, but that's okay. One thing I love about Disney is how they are able to bring out feelings that you wouldn't otherwise feel. For example, I come from the North West. I have all four...

What do you love about France?
Before coming to Walt Disney World, I looked at people's photos of the parks. One picture that stood out to me was a shot of this area in France in the World Showcase. They never mentioned where it was taken, but only that is was on WDW property. When I came here and set up my tripod for the first time, I found myself in this spot taking pictures. This shot was taken months ago and I wanted to wait for a great time to share it. I love the France Pavilion. I think the area is so true to form. I never hear about...

Have you told your friends about Digital Elegance?
When I left Disneyland in January of 2010, I went through a major withdrawal phase. I couldn't live without Disney in my life. I would go to the stores and see Princess things and see people referencing Disney stuff everywhere. On top of that, I would visit my facebook page which was still full of my past Disney friends and so they would talk about their shifts or talk about it to some degree. I missed it so much. I had to turn somewhere...

What do you find to be magical that others take for granted?
I have very sensitive eyes, so I am usually wearing sunglasses during the day. I switched over to polarized lenses some time ago and never went back. One of the benefits of having polarized lenses is seeing thing that others can't because they are either squinting, or there is some sort of other light blocking their view. Sometimes what I...

Which do you like better, California vs Orlando Tower of Terror?
I am fortune enough to have a great roommate who works at the Hollywood Tower of Terror. He is a blast to hang out with and I enjoy going to see him at work. Sometimes it's just to bum a ride home, but mostly because he's great at what he does. This particular night I was coming to get some shots... and then a ride home. I got off the bus and this was what I saw. I whipped out my tripod and boom got this shot with a couple others. I love the Tower of Terror here in Walt Disney World. The difference (of course I have to compare everything to Disneyland) between the Disneyland version is interesting. I love the queue and the riding into the 5th dimension parts of this one, but the boiler room in California combined with some of the effects and the drops, I am certain of, are better over there.
The angle of the Tower here is not as photogenic as in California, and it makes it a bit difficult to get a great shot, or at least of the main side. I'm pretty sure I can find an angle somewhere in the park, but I haven't been able to. Challenge Accepted! Just some fun tidbits about Tower that you may not have known. Expedition Everest is only 0.9 inches taller than Tower. There is no air conditioning on the right side 5th dimension corridors. And lastly, two of the chairs in the lobby are from the 1600's.

What do you think the story is here?
One of the things that people seem to miss as they adventure through Animal Kingdom is the little details. The roads have tracks in them of local types of tracks you would find, be it a bike or little car. In Asia the roads and building are just full of these little but profound details. As I was walking along I saw this walkway with backpacks and lanterns and next to the building was this bike. I had to wonder what the story was...

Which park icon is your favorite?
One of my first times in the Magic Kingdom fell on a full moon. I was surprised there weren't more people trying to capture what I saw. Then again this is not an easy shot to get when the moon is so bright. Even then trying to give the moon its full justice versus a crisp and bright foreground is also not easy to do. But I'm glad I got to get this photo on the day I did. Turns out that the full moon was something special. Had you stayed up that night to about 3 am...

I thought it would be great to just take a simple picture of color that was reflecting off the building panels at the Experience Music Project. The reflections come courtesy of the amusement park rides that are located next to the EMP building. Do you see the woman's face in the right lower portion of the picture?
Which Harry Potter House would Animal Kingdom fit in?

This old oak is hanging on the edge of the cliff over the American River in Fair Oaks, California next to the Old Fair Oaks Bridge posted earlier in my photostream. I was even on the edge taking this photo. I went a little wild on the HDR settings in Photomatix. I am not sure I am fond of this one.

Is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad better in the front, middle or back?
I do not usually take photos with people in them, but when I do, it's because I saw an angle that had to be captured in the moment. Luckily I had my camera out while on the Liberty Belle River Boat as we were going around the Rivers of America. I only really had one chance to get this shot as the train was coming through. I made my HDR from a single shot. Although I was...

Don't you just love the Haunted Mansion?
I never try to hide the fact that I love the Haunted Mansion. I remember the first time I rode it as a child and was fascinated by all of the special effects. My Uncle Gary took the time to explain how some of them worked and instead of losing the magic, it made it that much more magical to me. He had even made his own copy of a bust that follows you. Ever since, Mansion has excited me. I even have...

Again, this was day two of the gray and rainy weather as I drove up the coast. Fortunately, the rain waited till later in the evening. As I am still new to the whole HDR process, I have some "Ghosting" of the vehicles on the bridge.
Luján - Mendoza - Argentina.
I could write down a hole fake story about "Los Cubos" (the cubes, that's how we call this building) and make it sound kinda apocalypitc...
But hell, no, that would be just stupid.
This is the main entrance corridor of the art museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is located on the lakefront. The visitor's have a fantastic view of Lake Michigan right outside this vast window. This is an HDR tonemapped in Photomatix and final work and editing with Photoshop Elements. Looks Best On Black
Have you seen Enchanted Tales With Belle?
The other day I kinda got dragged into Enchanted Tales with Belle. I wasn't excited as much as I should have been, but I decided I should get into it for the sake of the children watching and participating. I got selected as a soldier and put my all into it. I had a blast. I love this show and can't wait to go again and see it from the audience perspective.

Getting my current position within the Walt Disney Company for my second college program was disappointment after disappointment. But because of some major self study to better myself as a person, I was equipped with skills to make the most of every situation. At first I was told I was going to be in attractions. This was low on my interest for working at Disney. I even called to see if they could get me Photopass again, and they replied with a "Take it or leave it" offer back. So I took it. So this is where I first applied the magic phrase, "How it this perfect for me?" Turns out, if I wish to extend (which I do), I theoretically have two skills (or options) for positions that would require minimal training. I am extra valuable.
Next, I found out that I was going to be working in Animal Kingdom. I am still a poor college program cast member and living in Florida (or anywhere really) is not cheap. I looked up the hours for the Animal Kingdom and the park closes most of the year around 5:00 pm. Hours are going to be hard to come by. I had to ask the question again. "How is THIS perfect?" Well, I am able to wander the parks freely after my shifts are done (with a change of clothes that is) and take pictures. This gives me so much time to focus on this website that I love and corresponding with you all.
This picture is the Tree of My Life. It reminds me every day that I can make a good situation out of a bad, simply by looking into it more. One of the greatest lessons you will find in this life is that things that happen are just events. It's us that classifies them as good or bad. Try spinning every "Bad" situation into a positive one and you'll be amazed with what you will find. Sometimes it comes quickly, others you'll had to really wonder if it would ever be perfect, but it always is. I love this picture and I know that the skies may be dark, but life grows stronger after the rain.
How is your current situation "PERFECT" for you?

Second HDR i have done. This stuff is kinda cool, but lots more to learn as with everything. This one probably took 45 minutes with 7 photos merged together and messing.
I spent all day hiking to get this shot of Mt Driftwood. It's at an elevation of 6'3".
Actually, I stumbled across this old gigantic driftwood tree stump and thought the top looked like the mountainous terrain you would see out in southern Utah!
What animal do you have to see at Animal Kingdom?
I was in Disney's animal Kingdom the other day and I stumbled upon this little area on the Oasis, right before going to Discovery Island. This part of Animal Kingdom was first designed to be a series of trails that would take the adventurer around to meet new animals and plants and all this with no maps. The issue with this is that it would take people forever just to...
