Which is your favorite side of Cinderella Castle?

One of the great design features of Cinderella Castle is that you can photograph it from so many different angles. I have shot it from many of them and still haven't gotten every one. This is one of my all time favorites, though. I love the reflections. They are almost perfectly clear. This is part of my BPO Collection I love walking around...

Where in the "World" can you find this?

As you get off the Seas with Nemo and Friends ride you exit to a huge area to see all sorts of animals from under the sea. If you stand in this location, behind you is an amazing aquarium filled with some amazing creatures. This is one amazing place and unfortunately when I've gone, it's late at night and all the activities are mostly done for the day. I just love this area though and this building is...

What do you think of the architecture of Animal Kingdom Lodge?

I don't usually like to make complaints on this blog, but today I would like to ask you all, why did the architects design Animal Kingdom Lodge so oddly? I don't get why you have to walk to 3 different half levels just to get to places. I got so confused just to get to this place. I was fine with the adventure, but if I was a guest I would be quite upset. This seems to go along with the design of Discover Island at...

What can you learn from a photo like this?

It was a nice morning in Animal Kingdom when I started my day. The clouds were mostly flat and the air was crisp. Guests started to come into the park and I had almost given up on taking any photos of any place where they were walking around. Luckily, they hadn't gone over toward the Lion King Theater yet. I set up and took...

Which country-based restaurant would you eat at first?

When going around EPCOT, there are so many things to look at and take photos of. I get stuck in areas taking picture after picture of the same thing from different angles and have easily lost track of time. There is one thing that these World Showcase Countries have to offer that can't be missed... FOOD! Each area features...

What do you like about the Wilderness Lodge?

While exploring the Wilderness Lodge at the Walt Disney Resort, I found this little area in one of the other buildings. What you are not able to see is the fireplace behind the bird cage. On the other side of the wall is the fireplace and a great place to sit and relax. I really love this place. It reminds me so much of the Grand Californian in California. It has that homey feeling that rustic cabins can give...

Have you seen The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in Disney's Hollywood Studios?

On a personal note I am having a very difficult time this year with the Holiday Season. Five years ago, I was in Disneyland working in PhotoPass and I was having the time of my life. I was experiencing my very first Disney Christmas and I was in love. Now I'm in Disney World and I am feeling a bit lonely. Disney World is so large and every bit of music and decoration reminds me of the past and how I miss that. But the other night...

Okay, so this house hanging above the stream is my second attempt at an HDR. I fiddled with this one a bit more to get it to *pop* a bit -- again, hard to be sure how successful it really is. I'll leave that decision to all you glorious Flickrmonkeys.

Which character would you have lunch with?

I love this place, the Princess Fairytale Hall. The building is so nice and the theming is over the top. I have yet to see inside, but the exterior is marvelous. What a great way for children of all ages to come meet their favorite princess. With the popularity of Anna and Else, this place is crazy busy with families waiting to see them. Disney has done almost anything they can to get more people through to see them and now trying to get rid of...

Are you daring enough to ride Splash Mountain in the winter?

I ventured into the Magic Kingdom the other day before the guests were allowed into the park so I could capture a few photos. I knew this would be something that most people would not be able to see or experience for themselves, so I found something I could share with all of you that I get to see on a very regular basis. As a Cast Member, I will often come into the parks before everyone else is allowed to get things ready for you. We prep the...

What is your favorite thing about the Backlot Tour?

With the many things available to do and see in Disney's Hollywood Studios, one of the things that I think is really fun but not well advertised is the Backlot Tour. It's kinda shoved back in a corner of Studios where people don't go very often. Sure there is a restaurant area and the Streets of America, but even then the cast members that stand as sentries don't seem to want more people to enjoy...

When setting a table, where does the soup spoon go?

I keep saying it, but it's very true. Hollywood Studios is the toughest park to photograph, but when it comes to interior shots this place shines like no other. I love the attention to detail here in the 50's Prime Time Diner. This is certainly on my bucket list of places to eat at. I have time on my side so I haven't done it yet. I have been told you get told by the wait staff to get your elbows off the table and all other types of...

Do you like the Teacups?

The Mad Tea Party or the "Teacups", as most people call it, is a ride I seldom ride. Not because I don't like it. On the contrary, I love it. I rarely go to the parks with anyone who wants to ride it, though. I'm either alone or the group I'm with would rather spend their time on something else. I don't blame them. There are a lot more things to do in Magic Kingdom. I did convince some friends of mine to ride with me...

Which Studio restaurant do you go to?

My first time walking around Hollywood Studios, I got so turned around and didn't know where anything was, let alone where I was in relationship to the Hat. I had gone on a virtual tour care of some youtube video of a walk through for the entire park. The thing is, in the video I still didn't see what was where. It wasn't until my fourth time in the park that I finally got everything down and now...

What is it about Japanese Culture that intrigues you?

There's something about Japan and Japanese culture that draws me in. Maybe it's the fact that I've been doing Origami for decades or that I do watch an occasional Anime series or movie. But ever since my first piece of sushi, there has been nothing holding me back from learning about these wonderful people. The Germans, though they have some differences in culture, aren't too different from what I grew up with. But Japanese culture come in with...

I am going to admit something to you all. I have never been into the Canada pavilion. This is a picture of how close I've been. Seriously! I have no idea what's behind any of those doors. Which Pavilion portrays its Asian counterpart better, China or Japan?

So for months I went to EPCOT and enjoyed the many things there. I love World Showcase. I'm all about travel and different cultures. Funny thing was, I had almost always been with others and there was one Pavilion that I seemed to walk by and look at but never go into see the inner shops. China has stolen my heart. This pavilion is...

What do you do to keep yourself from turning into a Dinosaur?

So I decided today I would post a photo from my ride. Yup, I work here at Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom normally when I'm not running around the parks and resorts taking pictures or at home editing them. I really like it here. I feel like I've joined a new family and everyone is usually very friendly. Like every place there are few people that have lost the magic as to why they work there. I find it very sad. I call them my dinosaurs. It's not that they are old, it's that they...

Magic was made one time I visited Disney's California Adventure. Carsland had just opened and for some reason I was possessed to get food at the Cozy Cone. Cone 4 had a thing called Red's Apple Freeze. It sounded like something I had to try. When I did, I fell in love and wondered why there wasn't a longer line for this magical drink. Here I am in Walt Disney World and a friend of mine got a LeFou's Brew and asked if I wanted to try it. I took one look at it and almost dropped. I had been over to Gaston's Tavern before taking pictures but no one had told me that this was CONE 4!!! The same drink is here in all its glory. I get one now almost every time I go to the Magic Kingdom.

For those, like me, who wish to make this lovely drink while looking at this amazing picture in the comfort of your pajamas and jumbo office chair, I found this lovely lady who has a youtube channel called The Disney Diner. Watch this simple and short video on how to make your own Red's Apple Freeze or LeFou's Brew. Subscribe to her channel and then share this post with your friends.

Even with a Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in California, I still have to ride it here in Florida. The differences are fun to notice and the ride it still great in both places. I still think the drop are better in Disney's California Adventure, but the queue and the 5th dimension here in Florida are great! Although I feel...

Can you see the Hidden Mickey?

If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times EPCOT has the most photogenic areas in the "World". Of all the places in the World Showcase, I love the attention to detail that Morocco has to offer. Rumor has it, the royalty of Morocco had natives come over to help build it. I don't doubt it one bit. The work in this area is exquisite. This is one of my favorite areas in Morocco. I love the Mosaic Tessellation. It's work like this that...

What is your Sword in the Stone?

Out of all the Disney movies, only a few tell the tale of a boy becoming a king. Most of the fairy tales are about girls becoming queens. Outside of the Lion King (which is about animals and a bit hard to relate to), the story of a young boy, Wart, becoming king solely by pulling a sword out of a stone. Many a boy has been in search of a stone like...

If you could teleport anywhere in the world, where would it be?

After spending 2 years in Europe, you come to gain a deep fondness for things in other countries. Today is actually Swiss National Day. The "Independence Day" for Switzerland. Happy 5 Years DCP Fall '09!

Five years ago today, I started something that I thought would just look great on a resume and possibly launch me into a career in creating websites for movies and help companies promote them. I had no idea I would fall in love with a company and a service model that I literally could not live without. I had no idea that I could create such life-long friendships with people from all over the country who I love dearly and still contact fairly regularly (thank you Facebook).

What Resort Is Your Favorite?

The first resort I went to after I moved here was the majestic Grand Floridian. I had to see how it compared to my favorite Grand Californian which I frequented while living there in Anaheim and even after. This resort is a stark contrast to that of the Californian. The Floridian is overly posh. I love the white and pristine feel to it. This one feels like a place that those elite of the 1930's would come for a vacation after making their millions. Much like how the Californian places you in an over-sized cabin with cozy fireplace, the Floridian sets you up for a day at the beach or relaxing to the sounds of the piano player play classical pieces for a full immersive experience.

I wish to spend more time in each of the many resorts here on Disney Property. They all have their own personality. The question is, which one next? So far I have been impressed by the theming and the atmosphere. I'll be sure to post what I get from each one. It get's hard to pick a picture of the day from so many pictures taken. For the record I have enough for a couple of months now, but I don't like to place things too close together. As is, you fans of the Hollywood Studios are probably very mad at me right now that I haven't got anything for you yet. YET! Coming soon.

What's your favorite scene in Pirates of the Caribbean?

I have some sentimental reasons for loving the Pirate of the Caribbean attraction. It's one of the things on the list of things to do every single I came to the parks. When I got my camera years ago and went to Disneyland, this was the first one I wanted to really photograph but I quickly learned that it is quite difficult to do so and abide by the rules that Disney dictates of not using...

Happy to see Frozen go?

The movie Frozen has had quite an impact on the Disney Company. I don't think they even realized how much social media would push this movie into the fore front of everyone's lives. With parodies and spoofs flooding the internet surf, Disney had to capitalize on it and so they did. They figured out quickly what they could do and got right to work. Either you liked it or hated it, but regardless, many people got influenced by...

Have you eaten at the Yak & Yeti?

I feel that too many people come to the parks with the hopes to make it on all of the rides and catch a few shows here and there while they let their feet rest from the hours of walking and standing. Which icon is your favorite?

When I get to each park, there is a central icon that draws the attention. For Magic Kingdom, it's the Castle. For Hollywood Studios, it's the Hat. For Animal Kingdom, it's the Tree. But for EPCOT, it's the "Golf Ball"! I'm not sure which is my favorite, but I can say easily it's not the Hat in Hollywood Studios. Maybe because they keep putting some sort of stage in front of it to see it properly. The EPCOT Globe which holds Spaceship Earth is...
