There's ALWAYS one... I have always been a 'rebel', never a 'follower', rather wolf than a sheep, fighting against cliches, injustice and ... many of the negative ISMS, like ageism, racism, sexism, pessimism etc.
But then again, I am all for optimism, individualism.
AND: I love red!
Coloured recycled pencils... were brought into the studio, props for 'GOING BACK TO SCHOOL' advert, ahem... I also see the possibilities of some 'creative' imagery of course.
Just some more fun with pencils/props and lights in the studio, always the same... one idea sparks off another... I love being a creative, it is the spice of (my) life.
I cannot imagine 'not' having it...Lol.

I am becoming obsessed with this location at sunset, it's so perfect! Thankfully no one lives there currently, so I like to hike up there are steal some shots.
For some odd reason, it was rather difficult to stand on my toes like that - I kept falling! So, many takes later, I finally took something that worked out the way I was hoping for.
But instead of doing my homework like I should be...I went out and ventured the streets at sunset!
If I were you, I would view this on black, but you know, that's just me...

I think the biggest problem TVC had was how impossible certain figures were to find. This guy for example, shipped out for maybe a month or two at best.
The aircraft Cavalier F-51D Mustang "Miss Rebel," registration LN-BMU, is a North American P-51D with a complex and storied history. It was originally built during WWII, later rebuilt by Cavalier Aircraft in 1968 for export to El Salvador, and eventually returned to the civilian airshow circuit.
WWII origins (1944–1945)
The airframe was originally constructed as a P-51D Mustang sometime between 1944 and 1945, with the USAAF serial number 44-10753.
The aircraft's early service history is largely unknown. Its USAAF serial number was reassigned to the airframe when it returned to the US years later.
It is important to note that the Miss Rebel name and paint scheme it now carries represent the aircraft of Captain Oran Watts of the 23rd Fighter Group in China during WWII, not the original identity of this specific airframe.
Cavalier rebuild and military service (1968–1974)
In 1968, the aircraft was acquired by Cavalier Aircraft Corporation in Sarasota, Florida. Cavalier specialized in modifying and refurbishing surplus P-51s for civilian and military use.
Cavalier rebuilt the Mustang into a Mark 2 ground attack fighter for the Salvadoran Air Force, giving it the new designation F-51D. The modifications included a taller vertical fin, stronger wings, additional hardpoints for ordnance, and wingtip fuel tanks.
The aircraft was delivered to El Salvador and served as FAS 405. It participated in the 1969 "Football War" between El Salvador and Honduras, one of the last conflicts where piston-engine fighters fought each other.
Return to civilian life and airshow circuit (1974–present)
After its military career, the aircraft was sold to a private owner and returned to the US in 1974.
It later received the Norwegian civil registration LN-BMU and entered the European airshow circuit.
The aircraft's military-style taller tail was eventually removed to make its profile more historically accurate for its WWII P-51D lineage.
Today, LN-BMU is operated by Biltema Logistics AB and appears at airshows across Europe, including the Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow in September 2025.

Another rebel inspired by Rogue One. The red circular symbol is a reference to Ferris Wheel by Donovan, and the other red symbol is a Republic credits pouch. The thing around his neck is supposed to be a bandolier similar to Chewbacca's. Enjoy!
From top left to bottom right: a CR90 Corvette (Rebel Blockade runner), a Nebulon B Frigate, two Sphyrna-class corvettes (Hammerhead corvette), one Braha'tok-class gunship, the Ghost (from Rebels), the Millennium Falcon, and 3 GR-75 medium transport.
The fleet is to-scale with the recent UCS Star Destroyer, with one stud approximately equal to 12 meters. The Blockade runner is just the one from that set, everything else is my own design.
The ships making up this fleet were selected loosley based upon the remnants left over the Battle of Scarif, and on the ships at the rendezvous point at the end of Empire Strikes Back.
Because why would you not walk around with a bongo strapped to your back? Bongo actually belongs to Jango but he's temporarily in retirement while I save up to get him a new face.

Now back in South Central Nebraska... We were about to experience the strongest outflow boundary of the year. 110-120 mph winds were accompanied by this super strong beast. Tons of cloud to cloud lightning and beautiful arcus shelf cloud structure was beautiful view as she approached from the southwest.
Now moving almost directly due east we had to jimmy south to Alma Nebraska from Hwy 89 to get back in front of this monster. Believe it or not, the calm before the storm was evident here. No wind until the shelf came over our heads and then we got hit hard. Luckily we had gear already prepped and put away as headed north as soon as this hit our location.
Though you know me... I waited till the very last second to get these captures!

This scene doesn't really have a back story, but it is obviously inspired by Star Wars: Rebels. The Royal Guards were added because I recently re-read the Star Wars: Lando comics.

My interpretation of a cool little Star Wars vehicle designed by EC Henry and Angelos Karderinis - A blend of the Rebel personnel carriers seen on Yavin 4 and a curious red forklift that can be glimpsed in docking bay 94 next to the Falcon.
Thanks to Luca for suggesting the red infinity stone as the warning light.
