Look what decided to bloom like crazy instead of die a miserable death after being profusely snowed upon rather unseasonably! Yes, it's my very silly, very gorgeous Salvia patens. Well done, little plant.

This is my Schecter C1 Custom Floyd Rose, see-thru black quilted maple top with Seymour Duncan pick-ups, split-crown mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays up the neck. This guitar sounds as amazing as it looks.

Ignore the glare on the glass. I just wanted to get a shot of this because it creeped me out a liiiiitle too much. He was in a little kid's vending machine that gave out little knick knacks. I really don't like clowns!

I spent two days out at Pelee, the first was incredibly bright and sunny while the second was much drabber and was overcast for a good portion of it. The heat was less intense, and as such the butterfly activity was much less as well so I found myself some other insects to shoot.

It's funny how when I don't have my camera in my hand I turn into a giant sissy who's afraid of wasps, bees, or spiders but as soon as I've got my macro lens strapped on my camera I feel like some crazy person who is totally calm in the face of "danger". I have really come to realize the honest to goodness truth about wasps though, and that is if you're not aggravating them, they really don't give a crap what you're doing.

This is pretty much coming up on the end of my insect photos from Pelee last summer, I have one more tomorrow, and it's another of my favourites :) Thanks for stopping by!
