Half way through the walk while down on the beach, after losing half of the group and it was lightly raining, I caught this ray of sunshine through the clouds. I was setting up for a totally different shot, but this appeared for just seconds.
I already had a ND8 filter and a Graduated ND filter mounted to darken the scene and slow down the water.

The November Celebration of Seagrove Potters takes place at the Historic Luck's Cannery located on Pottery Highway 705 just around a mile from the town of Seagrove, North Carolina.This is a unique and special once a year event where the local Seagrove Potters annually gather under one roof in November the weekend before Thanksgiving.

A patient waits for his X-Ray to dry so the doctor can tell him if he's broken any bones or not!
Aarohi has a fully equipped hospital with an operation theatre and x-ray machine. They have nearly 15 or 16 surgical camps each year where doctors from different parts of India volunteer and operate on patients needing surgery.
A young girl with scars from extensive burns had been operated in one of these camps a few months ago. On the day I visited Aarohi, we received news of her wedding, the ultimate proof of a successful operation!
They're set for the the second stage of their community health project Arogya, where they will cover 30 villages in the Kumaon Hills.

The sun came out a couple of times briefly. The new calf enjoyed those rays. It is no fun being wet with it cloudy out and the wind blowing. After mom got him cleaned up and dry the rain came....poor baby!
After graduation I worked for a year prior to going on a mission. When I returned in 1963 I married my high school sweetheart Barbara Trump.
We have two children a boy and a girl with seven (7) grandchildren. They all make us proud. Soon after our marriage I started school at the Salt Lake Community College and went to work in the family business, Davis County Sheet Metal Heating and Air Conditioning. I worked there until 1988 when I closed the business and went to work for Met Life. Then in 1991 I left Met Life and went to work managing a Salt Lake Law firm with branch offices in Dallas Texas, San Francisco, and Newport Beach, California. In 1995 my wife Barbara developed a Liver disease which continued to get worse with time. We left the law firm in 2001 and moved to Hurricane, UT, ten miles east of St George, hoping the weather would make her feel better. I went to work for the State of Utah at Workforce Services helping disabled individuals get gainful employment. We literally built our own home after work at night and on Saturday's. It took us eight month to complete the project.
Barbara continued to get worse and she was in the process of getting a Lived transplant but she passed away last July 2008 a few weeks after surgery in preparation for a transplant. We had a perfect marriage of 45 years in mortality and more to come. I still work, keep busy in my church, enjoy my yard and happy that I have a wonderful life. See you at the reunion.
