It is so cold here at the moment, going down to below zero most nights. We have an open fire in the evenings which makes the house very cosy. All the cats try to find spots either next to the radiators or in front of the fire.
Thank you for all your kind wishes. I am glad to report I am nearly back to full strength.

Quleh ruins, Central Israel. In 1948, Quleh was completely destroyed due to the Israel Independence War. The Arab inhabitants fled and what remains now is the ruins and trees and grass growing inside them. The landscape looks fantastic as any little hill in the forest may suddenly turn out to be a destroyed building covered by grass and bushes. The accidental sun reflexes added to the atmosphere of the place.

This is an older shot taken in Donegal, Ireland. When I think of light I think of this photo so I went back to re-visit it and give it a little bit of a face-lift (a slightly different crop, hue and saturation)
