I didn't used to like fruit much, but now I can eat a whole plateful. Love raspberries.

Raspberry production tunnels, on a bright sunny early winter sandy Californian afternoon.

A variation on yesterdays post, but I like this one better :-)

Can you tell they're raspberries? I'm not entirely sure...

Things have been a little weird down my end, so hopefully all will be back to normal by Sunday =]

In spite of our drought ,I managed to keep a few raspberry vines alive and producing ...

I had planned on heading in the city today for some of the Chinese New Year festivities as there was sure to be lots of red there! A late night, followed by a much needed sleep in meant that we didn't make it, so I decided to bake instead!

When my husband bought home these beautiful red raspberries I just knew they had to be my photo for the day. They were bursting with colour and beautifully shaped and they were the perfect addition to my Summer fruit macaroon slice!

Fresh raspberries at the farmers market. via 500px ift.tt/1QkbPYK

Taken on the 4th December 2010. This little Raspberry has withstood snow, well below freezing temperatures, rain and goodness knows what else and it still looks rather wonderful and tasty. One of Nature's heros :-)

This is the Farmer Swire series. For someone born and raised in city centre in Hong Kong, strangely I've always been fond of the countryside and farming. When we bought our house in Toronto, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the Italian family who used to own the house planted a raspberry bush in one corner of the backyard.

After watching British documentary TV series Tales from the Green Valley, Victorian Farm, Victorian Farm Christmas, Edwardian Farm, Wartime Farm and Tudor Monastery Farm, I became inspired to do better in growing some food in our little backyard.

Seven raspberries on chocolate mousse.

Another wet, cold, miserable day so I decided on another still life shot. The raspberries were delicious!

A neighbor gave me these berries, which looked so pretty I decided to photograph them before I ate them. Last week, another friend had given me a tutorial on using my flash, so I tried using some of his techniques. When I took picture with no flash, the berries looked flatter. Here I bounced the flash off the slanted ceiling.
