Raspberries at the La Grande Farmers' Market

Well this is my first shot with the Nikon 105mm macro! I'm pretty proud of it! I was just bored and took some pics of some berries! I had the jankyest lighting set up. All it was, was a book lamp... Oh well it worked

I 'm teaching my friend how to use an AE-1 tomorrow! Cant wait! I also get coffee, I love coffee. In other news I was spose to get a haircut today but the place was closed. Who closes a barber shop on a tuesday and sunday?

 

I have two photoshoots planned for this weekend and I'm hopin there goin be my best yet.

Week 49/52

 

This week’s theme for my 52 project is “Food.” I was originally trying to think of something elaborate to photograph for the theme. I ultimately ended up going with simple macro shots. This is my final choice for the theme — raspberries. Today was a very cloudy, dark day, so I had to use my flash for this shot. I still need to learn more about flash photography, so this was a good exercise for me.

Our raspberry patch is thornless. Sometimes I wonder if that's fair.

Day 349/365 - I am into really bright colorful pictures right now. I bought these today to use as a photo prop and also eat them. My husband just had some topped with whipping cream.

I didn't give the giraffe the raspberries back.

Our Daily Challenge ... trick or treat

It's interesting how the lens picked up all the detail in the skin of the fruit.

INGREDIENTS:

 

1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Light Fat Free red raspberry yogurt

1/3 cup raspberry liqueur

18 chocolate cordial cups

18 raspberries

 

DIRECTIONS:

 

1. In small bowl, mix yogurt and raspberry liqueur.

 

2. Spoon into cordial cups. Top each with raspberry.
