I raked all of the leaves out of the flowerbeds yesterday. The kids were really working hard here. ;-) They loaded up bucket after bucket of leaves and put them in the back of the truck. They were so cute.

 

I'm so glad I got the leaves out of the beds...I have so many plants coming back! It's nice to finally see some green!

The annual cutting and removal of the year's growth - simulating a hay cut - encourages a wide variety of wildflowers.

We had a little fun raking piles of leaves and jumping into them last week.

£2.20 on blades, no saw just raw finger ache, and a stitch worthy slice in my finger from mr stanley... lowlife
