I had a bunch of strips of patterned lawn fawn papers left over from making a background a while ago. Perfect for a cheerful rainbow background. I used the Lawn Fawn cover plate for the sentiment. I intended to do a strip subsentiment, but I didn’t want to cover up the text. So I ended up putting “Happy Birthday” and “Let’s party “ on the inside. Entering the SSS monday challenge - rainbow

I mixed water, oil and dish washer liquid into a petri dish and used a image* on my phone to shine through. I attached my macro lens on to a standard kit lens so I was able to get up close. Although there is a blur around the edges it gave the image a 3D effect.

I used a bunch of patterned papers by Lawn Fawn to create this rainbow background. I didn’t want to cover it up, so I finished it with a simple scripty sentiment from Lawn Fawn. The SSSs Monday challenge ending soon is rainbow, so I’m entering there.
A poster for gay pride that I created as an intern for Northern Colorado AIDS Project. The crowd is a vector stock image - I added the rainbow background using Photoshop. A slightly modified version was printed and used for promotion around town in Fort Collins, Colo.
I wanted to create a large scale photo mosaic for my wall, based on my own photos.
I created a wide panoramic abstract image, loosely based on my lantana flower picture with a rainbow background.
I then created a photo mosaic based on that abstract lantana image, and this was the result; 300 cells, each cell 4 inches by 3 inches. All up it is 120 inches wide by 30 inches high.
I then cropped each image out, and had 150 6"x4" prints done, each of which was sliced in half, giving me 300 4"x3" prints, which I then pinned onto a polystyrene canvas.
Final result:
Created for a challenge on Tallyscrapper. I've always wanted to create a rainbow background... so I sat down with Paint, roller doodles, and micro beads and got busy with it. Oh, and there are spots where the mod podge wasn't quite dry all the way (like in the yellow)... ;) The clouds are cotton balls. The pancakes are ones I made for the fam for dinner March 1.

My daughter is turning 5 at the end of this month and I've been working on a card for her for over a week. She loves owls so I had to be sure to add one to her card. I used a tag die by Sizzix, stamps by There She Goes, Lili of the Valley, Hampton Arts, and My Favorite Things on this card. The rainbow background was made with ink blending and the embossing folder is Cuttlebug.
