My wife and I headed out to Vancouver Pride and this became my photo walk. The rainbow background is a newly painted (permanent) rainbow sidewalk in Vancouver.
No real reason for the rainbow background except that I love the pretty colors. I chose books to read over the break, with no real theme in mind, just a mishmash of our offerings. We also have a reader's advisory wiki with tons of bibliographies, so I advertised it here.
Mary Grace... always a new idea lurking. She came down the steps from waking up for the day spouting out this idea before she even made it to the living room.

I am most proud of how I made the whole picture colorful with the
rainbow background and some of the backgrounds in the pictures. I

for this animation, i used the rainbow gradient tool. then i uploaded an image [the left image]. i used the magic wand to make it a floating image. then i added the picture to the rainbow background. then i made the "BASKiN R0BBiNS" title. then i made the "best ice cream on the block!" text with the text tool [duh]. finally, for extra credit, i used the animation program. i changed the opacity from 100% to 0%, duplicated that layer, then change the opacity from 0% to 100%. and thats how i got the font to dissolve and then disappear, then to come back. (:

I printed the the sentiment and shaped it.
The card is embossed with hearts and has a few touched of rainbow glitter glue for effect.
I love my new Dots and stripes cling stamp. I used it for rainbow background (colored with regular markers), the grass (stamped twice) and the tree (stamped horizontaly and verticaly). Since everything was so colorful, I sanded the background with sand paper. Flowers are from the Shoes clear stamps set (CL 303). This is for Cards for kids drive.
I had a bunch of strips of patterned lawn fawn papers left over from making a background a while ago. Perfect for a cheerful rainbow background. I used the Lawn Fawn cover plate for the sentiment. I intended to do a strip subsentiment, but I didn’t want to cover up the text. So I ended up putting “Happy Birthday” and “Let’s party “ on the inside. Entering the SSS monday challenge - rainbow
