A long mellow hike from Lunenberg to Mahone Bay offered some pretty scenes. This is my altered reality of the view along the trail.

I realize this is a bit random, but sometimes I just like to capture railroad tracks out in the middle of nowhere! This is just out of the edge of Orting in the little township of McMillin, Washington. Hope you enjoy my randomness! :)

Asked an astrometry friend what is beyond the stars and was informed more stars, then asked again what is beyond the stars and was told another galaxy with more stars. This mind could not comprehend another galaxy with more stars so stated that is just more stars but what is beyond the stars, his answer was infinity with more stars. This mind cannot comprehend endlessness but at least there are rails to it and that is comprehensible.

Another photo from little project of mine to capture pieces of Bangkok in action comics style. Check it out large
Interesting view from my hotel room... this simple "classic" composition of the person riding a bicycle across the frame (with a slight blur) was too good to resist.
Fusion of 2 images, a capture base and another in the Olympus Live Composite mode to collect the traces of some trains.
Since November of 1964 these two GP35s have called these rails home. Being bought from EMD with Alco FA trade ins, the Ann Arbor Railroad kept the Alco trucks for EMD to use to reduce cost of the purchase. Great Lakes Central rosters 4 of the Annie's GP35's which continue to this day to ply the rails that are their home. Train CSTN is seen at Farwell, Michigan.

Continuing the Slovakian theme with PSZ 770 538, seen here leading a rake of RTI self discharging hoppers. CHME3's as they are known on the 1520 gauge are a loco I don't think I'll ever tire of seeing and was quite the welcome sight on standard gauge rails.
Back from a week long trip to Peru with fellow railfan Doug Koontz. We had an absolutely phenomenal trip photographing and riding the vintage ALCO and GE fare. Our first part of the trip focused on the PeruRail narrow gauge operations and visiting the Inka ruins at Machu Picchu and the sacred valley. Here PeruRail Vistadome train 203 heads east towards Machu Picchu past the little know ruin of Ñaupa Iglesia along the Pachar River with ALCO DL532B 356 leading.
