R2D2 relaxing outside

ODC-Miniature

Monochrome Bokeh Thursday

Took this photo in my front yard.

This is my little miniature replica of R2D2 of Star Wars fame!

Deboxing - Step 2. Released!

I am thrilled with a lot of things about her but mostly that awesome hair color. I have not seen that shade of blue in any doll I have so far and I love it so much! So vibrant, so electric.

The face is soo cute too. The Lagerfeld sculpt's sweet innocence seems perfect for R2D2's character. I did not much like the blue paint on her left eye to begin with, but it suits her well.

My (small) SW collection :)

I've always wondered how many credits he was sold for.

I hope you like it!

Comments and suggestions are of course appreciated.

Marsh Wren at Ridgefield NWR.

If the Star Wars droid R2D2 was a bird - it would be a Marsh Wren. I recorded this bird and another Marsh Wren having a conversation. You can listen to their conversation at soundcloud.com/travis-nolen-113940144/marsh-wren

Enjoy!

This Lego creation is of if you do not know, the robot from Star Wars, r2d2. It is produced by the Danish mathematical fundamentalist toy makers Lego.

r2d2 had the temperament of a faithful dash hound, small, quiet and kind of clever, good at getting out of tight places or squeezes, and with a quick temper backed by a not so large bite.

Return of R2D2. After an absence of a few years at YVR, ANA brought there Star Wars special back to Vancouver.

I think this is a particular and original reinterpretation of little R2D2.

Well not really, but the colours kind of look like R2D2 and it does make sound! :) This is a macro of a PC sound card.

Even snow troopers must do questionable things to survive.

Yes in this shot I had to sacrifice R2D2 for the authenticity of the picture. I miss R2, this brave droid has earned a place in my hall of fame. R2 will be forever remembered.

C-3PO (to R2):

How would you know the hyperdrive is deactivated? The city's central computer told you? R2-D2, you know better than to trust a strange computer.
