"There are two Banthas down there but I don't see any... wait a second, they're Sandpeople all right. I can see one of them now." This is the sand canyon in the Death Valley where R2D2 travels alone to find Ben Kenobi. The real Set of the movie I mean. Try to imagine for a true fan, what was the sensation to walk inside there!

R2-D2 (called "R2" for short) is a robot character in the Star Wars universe created by George LucasGeorge
Lucas's creation of R2-D2 was influenced by Akira Kurosawa's 1958 feature film The Hidden Fortress (USA release 1962), particularly Tahei and Matashichi, the two comic relief characters that serve as sidekicks to General Makabe

Theme: Nostalgia
I still have a lot of my old Star Wars figures and they give me such a sense of nostalgia when I look at them. I had real fun setting up these shots. It was like being a kid all over again :-)
One of my childhood memories was that on one of my birthdays, my parents had bought me a 'Jabba the Hutt's Palace' toy, my brother and I were having so much fun and getting on that mum and dad let us have the day off school :-)
