My very first time lapse! Taken with Nikon D300s with Nikon 28-70mm f/2.8 lens (at 40mm) Manual Exposure - f/10 @ 1 sec. ("dragging the shutter" effect) Manual WB (Cloudy) Manual Focus 2 second intervals, 480 intervals (480 photos). Total elapsed time: 13 minutes Taken from Claridge Plaza Condo Bldg on 27 September 2009
Just wading through the sea of old photos taken with the Epson PhotoPC, fixed focal length digital camera (which was just slightly better than the first generation iPhone camera, but did have a flash). It's hard to beleive this is what Internet video evolved from... Good times with the Blueberry iMac DV and streaming over 56k though : )

For the past 3 years, I’ve had the wonderful experience to see a particular couple dance the tango at the plaza by the Cathedral. So, this past summer I made several visits to the plaça especially to see them, take videos and pictures.

This is a time lapse video of a short stint of Mumbai monsoon rains, as seen from my living room window. I shot 200 pictures, one every 15 seconds and processed them as a video using Quick Time.
Trying out more interesting 5D things. Alex got my watch repaired for Christmas. Yay!

This is my first time lapse video attempt.
I shot around 200 photos with 3 second intervals and 1 second aperture on my Nikon D80 and using a Phottix Intervalometer (search on ebay) around 6:30 PM. It was extremely windy, which is why there is a bit of shakiness. I used a gorillapod wrapped around a tree.
The video was assembled in Quicktime Pro at 15 fps.
When I saw Steve Jobs demoing the iPad at the ominous Apple Keynote I asked myself: Isn't it just a big iPod touch? That time my answer to the question was "yes, it is, nothing more". Now, that I have seen the device, touched it, and used it, I can state that software-wise it might be "just a fat iPod touch", but when you start using it, it is certainly much more.
I don't know how it could fit into my life, and I surely don't need one… but I want one. :)

Taped in Luxembourg on A3 near Aire de Berchem in December 2010 with a Nikon D300s. Assembled in Quick Time Pro. Edited Brightness, Contrast, Vignette, HSL Balance and De-Interlaced in Final Cut Express.

The street where my Amsterdam bed sleeps, is home to two tourist attractions: There is the "Otter" windmill, and there is this garage, where Citroen DS and SM's are nurtured back into good health. Both places are witness of technological advancement, be it of different eras. The garage isn't quite like any other either; in one of their buildings there is a crystal chandelier, and where in other garages you get deafened by Sky Radio, here soft classical music will help the technicians concentrate on their difficult but rewarding task.
BTW1: The larger version is big, but much more fun.
BTW2: This is a 360° image, I'll be putting a quicktime VR online somewhere soon (as soon as I manage to download a more recent version of quicktime that is :-).
